Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alaina Wodarek. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alaina, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you take vacations? Why or why not?
One of my favorite aspects of being a content creator and influencer is the opportunity to collaborate with hotels and restaurants worldwide. I’ve partnered with businesses in destinations like Aruba, Miami, New York City, and Nashville. These collaborations are a win-win for everyone involved. I create engaging visuals highlighting must-visit places, providing businesses with high-quality marketing material while giving my followers a curated travel guide.
Travel collaborations allow me to grow my business, expand my portfolio, and travel frequently without stepping away from work. My advice for entrepreneurs who feel like they can’t take a vacation is to integrate their work with their travels when possible. For instance, you can use travel as a chance to build your brand, network, and gain fresh content ideas.
Alaina, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Alaina, and I’m a content creator, entrepreneur, and social media strategist. While studying Fashion Merchandising and Social Media Strategy in college, I discovered my passion for the art of creating content. Right before graduating, I developed Alaina Rose LLC, where I focus on creating content that helps brands tell their stories in authentic, meaningful ways.
My work spans several areas:
I produce high-quality visuals, including reels and photos for fashion, beauty, fitness, and lifestyle brands.
I help local businesses build a strong online presence by showcasing their service or products in a trendy way.
As a fashion scholar and influencer, I’ve worked with globally recognized brands like SKIMS, McDonald’s, Good American, and Valentino Beauty, as well as local businesses. I’ve also created travel-focused content in partnership with hotels, restaurants, and experiences in cities like New York, Miami, and Nashville.
I’m proud of being a two-time fashion scholar and a SKIMS Scholar, which led to a dream internship. Additionally, launching my business has been one of my biggest achievements. My mission is to help the next generation develop healthy habits and a strong work ethic, creating content that inspires balance and positivity.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is seeing my clients genuinely in love with the final result of my work. My goal is always to showcase their product or service in a fresh, eye-catching way that resonates with their audience. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that my creativity helps bring their vision to life.
I also find great joy in seeing my concepts come to life exactly as I envisioned. There’s something magical about turning an idea into reality, whether it’s inspiring others or driving success for a brand.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
Two books that have influenced my entrepreneurial mindset are Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and The Source by Dr. Tara Swart.
Rich Dad Poor Dad taught me lessons about financial literacy that reshaped my understanding of money.
Dr. Tara’s work, on the other hand, has greatly influenced my interpersonal and emotional intelligence. Her insights on confidence, boundaries, and effective communication have been life-changing.
Together, these resources have shaped both the strategic and human sides of my entrepreneurial journey, teaching me the importance of balance between finance and emotional well-being.
