We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Al Williams a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Al, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s been the best thing you’ve ever seen (or done yourself) to show a customer that you appreciate them?
Well, the best thing we’ve ever done to show our customers appreciation as a new small business, Th3 Link Ag3ncy, Corp. and it’s affiliates: Chocolate Travelers, LLC and Get It Twisted Haircare sponsors a month of free services for each and every customer, during the holiday season. For all our monthly subscription subscribers.
Since, our ag3ncy is subscription based service. We wanted to provide an appreciation that no other subscription based servicer offers. And, especially during the holiday season.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
well, I’m the proud owner of Th3 Link Ag3ncy, Corporation [TLA, Corp.] Which is a social business agency. Our agency finance several business entities like ‘Chocolate Travelers’ our travel agency and ‘Get It Twisted’ Haircare and Products while providing essential business consult & coaching, graphic design, logos, talent, and social media management.
Before, becoming a serial entrepreneur, radio & social media personality, singer, and lastly host of ‘ I got something to say’ & ‘Convos With Ri and Al’. This all started in Little Rock, Arkansas, as a poor young black man. Apart of the LGBTQIA community before, I even knew it. I quickly adapted to all the qualities, I now in love with; I was taught by my grandmother. From stitching clothes for my neighbors to doing hair and make-up for my entire family and friends, circle!
Once I added money into my first piggy bank. God created a business mastermind. My first official business was Chocolate Travelers Group in ’16 with 7 members. And, now over 500 colorful traveling members. Th3 Link Ag3ncy, Corp. ’19. Which was my 2nd business, to help uplift and enhance small businesses. As social and digital business agency, for business owners. I were inducted in the south western Christian college Hall Of Fame ’19-’20.
Lastly, I’m super excited about becoming a executive producer for my first film: lastly, I am super excited about becoming a executive producer for my first film: Mystery Man.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
As a young man, I’ve utilize my surrounding resources to gain further financial wisdom and growth. It also, helped me establish a footwork in entrepreneurship. By my teens, I had clientele in cosmetology career, while taking additional courses to complete cosmetologist certification. And, utilizing my vocal abilities to further my educational career, which was supported, financially throughout my collegiate career.
Now, as an adult I utilized my cosmetic education to produce products in the hair industry called ‘Get It Twisted Haircare’. And, now a serial entrepreneur with 3 other businesses.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
As an entrepreneur, I’ve had to unlearn that family will not be your first supporters. I was thought my success will involve my family as first buyers. As a realist, I realized those that don’t know you will be your first and only customers.
