We were lucky to catch up with Al-shalei Washington recently and have shared our conversation below.

Al-shalei, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?

I always wanted to be a manager & Makeup Artist & one day I wrote all my ideas down an started executing one by one . I started in 2014 with doing mines & family faces a the one day I got the courage to start doing Clients and it’s be up from there . I always love music and Want to be in the industry as a SINGER, SONGWRITER and MANAGER -In 2016 I started managing my first client. I was a lil nerves but I went in it FULL FORCE AND EVER LOOK BACK & IM HERE TO WELCOME SLAYBYLAYMUA & FMC.Ent THA LABEL .

Hi my name is Al-shalei and I’m 33 years old straight out of New Jersey With big dreams of being in the Industry as a manager. My services is managed clients So did they Can’t achieve their dreams and goals.
So with that me apart from others is My professionalism And make the impossible possible And to go above and beyond for all my clients and be the best manager, I can be. Just Believe in yourself and anything is achievable.

Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.

Management was a side hustle for me. I didn’t know where I wanted to go with it until I put my feet in the door an took on my first client. I noticed it was taking off when. I started getting my flowers & every journey I was put in was determined to make a name for my self &
Accomplish my dreams and goals.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

The one thing I had to learn was that everybody doesn’t see the dream that you see and it will believe in it goes that you wanna achieve just as much as you do put a lot of people in positions that they took for granite they didn’t have to drive and determination to put them in the room with the right people so I had to leave them behind to achieve my dreams .
