Aisha, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Becoming successful is a process and you can loose it if you don’t stick in it for the long run. There’s no easy way to get there or shortcuts. Going through the mistakes, the failures, the gains, and the unknowing creates the Entrepreneurial Mindset to become successful. The two main factors you want to add is consistency and never giving up. Developing the skills to create a business mindset and how to operate a business are always the steps you’re going to revisit throughout your career.
“Most of the time, inspiring entrepreneurs are not entirely sure how things will work out, or what steps they need to take to achieve their goals, but their passion drives them forward. I always knew that I wanted to be a successful business owner, but I didn’t know what my passion for business was at first. I worked hard in various customer service jobs, brand ambassador roles, and modeling gigs for brands and businesses, until I finally realized my aspirations.”
I was shopping at the Fendi store in California and I was walking down the stairs admiring the store. I said to myself “If Ii had to get a Job, I could see myself working at one of these luxury handbag stores and sell Handbags”. Fast forward six months, I saw an opportunity to add a department to my online clothing boutique for pre-loved handbags and decided to go for it. However, this was easier said than done, as it required a lot of hard work. My mission was to find product, become the go-to person, and build trust with my clientele.
Where did you Start?
I started selling Bags for this local company and taking on that as a commission job. They saw that I was good, invited me back a few times, and they liked that I made them money. Long story short, they stood me up twice. I was ready to meet the owner and create a business adventure with them. When that didn’t happen, there was a switch in my mindset and position. That’s when I started to embody “All I had was ME” mentally and it will take all of me to make this successful because of me. That was the beginning of my Success Story.
I am now a year and a half in business, sold over 4 thousand luxury goods, Entrupy verified business and still working within my 5-year plan. What makes ASM Luxuries different is the Live shopping and Quality Items for affordable prices that I handpicked myself for my audience and clients. Doing my best to articulate and give the VIP shopping experience like you would have in the High-end Stores through your phone and soon in your home.

The word MADE defines You, that girl or guy that’s MADE for anything, MADE and ready, MADE to win, MADE for whatever you put your mind to. It’s a feeling I have and a feeling I want everyone to have and know they are MADE. I opened up a department, ASM Luxuries back in October 2022 outside of social media. I fully invested in myself and went for it.WE ARE NOW in our second year of business, We are an Entrupy Verified Company. Sold over 4 thousand items and going. ASM Luxuries is a trusted business that is here to serve you with your dream items and services.
Not only do I love what I do but it has created a new definition of life for me. Being that girl who window-shopped. I take my business on as a passion business. Finding affordable and quality Ranks S/A condition for her or him to shop for with confidence.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I have 2 social media accounts. When I started ASM Luxuries I did not use my Modeling account which has 19k followers on it until going into my second year in business. When I started my Luxury Business IG account @ASMLUXURIES I wanted it to be organic with My clients, Handbag/Luxury Bloggers, Collectors, and people in The Luxury Industry space. I wanted to create a page that was tailored to its origin.
