I vividly recall the moment when I approached an investor to seek funding for my fragrance line, only to be met with skepticism and comparison to Beyoncé. Without hesitation, I asserted my identity: ‘No, I’m Aisha.’ I made the bold decision to bet on myself. This experience taught me a valuable lesson: never allow others to deter you from pursuing your dreams.
