We were lucky to catch up with Aisha Baloubi recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Aisha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?

Here at Breakfast Munchies, we value every single customer. To us, a customer is very special because, they drive the awareness of our brand. Our customers are loyal to what they like, and appreciate the consistency in the quality of the services that we provide them; therefore, they stay loyal and continue to spread the word. To show our appreciation to our customers, we do random giveaways on our Instagram page, where we run a raffle for a lucky customer to win $100 food giveaway. We did one a few months ago and are getting ready to do another one soon.

My name is Aisha Baloubi, I am 33 years old, a mother of one, and a college graduate. Breakfast Munchies was started in May of 2021. Breakfast is a very important meal of the day, so why not make sure you have it? better yet, why not have it cooked freshly on a daily basis? Breakfast Munchies was created to make mornings eats more enjoyable rather than rushed. We take our time to perfect every plate that goes out, because we want our customers to remember that meal and come back!
In a nutshell, Breakfast Munchies is a breakfast/brunch company, that offers freshly cooked food, with a twist of creativity. We want our customers to taste and see the difference between frozen preserved food, they would get at a fast food restaurant, versus the freshly cooked food we offer here at Breakfast Munchies. Let’s not forget that Breakfast to start one’s day, plays a big role on both our health and mental well being, so why not eat it fresh, natural and be healthy ?

Sometimes, people find themselves not having enough time in a day to accomplish everything they have planned; so they turn to ‘alternatives’. Same with food, when we do not have time to cook, or are rushing, we go buy quick food to consume; By doing so, we sometimes end up with poor quality food, not knowing the harm it can cause us overtime. Have you ever wondered why a home-cooked meal tastes better than food at a fast food restaurant?
At Breakfast Munchies, we will always serve food that will give you that home cooked meal feeling. Don’t believe me? Simply try us out!

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?

Managing a team is about setting standards and policies in place to follow. As you are building your team, the company’s purpose, goals, and standards should be the foundation. Once you have your foundation, then you build onto that foundation, by adding members with the same purpose, goals, and standards. Your team should consist of team players who understand and values the company’s purpose, goals and standards. Once you build that team, you want to keep that team by making sure everyone is happy, treated the same according to policies, and is on the same page. A strong team morale, equal happy and repeat customers. You have to always thank your team, and constantly remind them how important they are to the company. Incentives are a great way to keep a high morale in the company. Most importantly constructive criticism; no one is perfect and we all learn every day; therefore, here at Breakfast Munchies, we help and manage our teams, the way we help and manage ourselves. We are all equal here and excited about bringing Freshly cooked food to the community!

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

Honestly the food we serve itself built the reputation. We have lots of customer reviews, which leads to word of mouth advertising. Our food is very different, from the appearance to the taste. Consistency in our product is also helping us build our reputation.
