AIRIAM, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
I was born and raised in Cuba, the son of a humble family and indoctrinated by a communist-socialist policy implanted in my country for more than 60 years, I arrived in the United States at the age of 23 with 0 English and looking for the American dream after having crossed through 8 countries in one of the most dangerous journeys that Latinos make to get here. once located in the St Pete area my first wishes were to continue my studies as a dentist that I had left in Cuba but the life in this country showed me that alone without a family it was practically impossible to continue my studies and the cost of living at the same time. That’s when I met some wonderful people who are like my parents here in this country and I also met my wife Daimi with whom we have a 4-year-old baby. My first job was doing Uber in my wife’s car and because of my passion for cars I applied to work at a Toyota of Pinellas Park car dealership. that was my first full-time job in the USA. It didn’t take long, just 8 months to realize that the 9-5 job was not for me, having a boss behind me all the time telling me what to do, not being able to have my free time or enjoy of my newborn son and my family was not the American dream that I had been told. That’s when I decide to start looking for answers and I find real estate, literally quit my job overnight with approximately $ 140 in the bank account and a tax return that took forever to arrive. When I left my job, I went back to doing Uber so I could pay the bills and finish my real estate studies and get a realtor license as soon as possible. It is hard to leave your weekly check to depend on a commission that only depends on your dedication and sacrifice, but I had achieved something that I wanted, time and freedom. After going through many obstacles, I became a top seller in my first year as a realtor and immediately began to share with other realtors in my company the secrets of my success as a real estate agent. The years to come were excellent until the covid surprised us and when everything seemed to end, I decided to create my own real estate company Home Prime Realty in a city where many Hispanics live but there was no Hispanic company to represent our people, founded on January 1, 2021, we have created an incredible community of bilingual realtors willing to help the entire population with the knowledge and experiences that I share with them day after day…
AIRIAM, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
As a person who has been in the real estate industry for years, I understand the challenge that realtors, sellers, buyers, and investors face when trying to fit it and score on deals that best serve their interests. My practice in the real estate industry so far has exposed me to a myriad of situations, all of which contributed to my extensive knowledge of the industry. From the experience, I have gained a strong pulse of the local markets, and understand what it takes to be successful as a real estate agent.
The feeling of having nowhere or no one to turn to for help can be frustrating and discouraging, especially for those who are just starting in the challenging real estate industry. The inception of Home Prime Realty was the culmination of long period of contemplation on how best to help real estate agents grow their business. Having been in their shoes before, I thought it was best to form a company; as a go-to place for real-estate agents, to tap into the invaluable knowledge and get more established in the market for success. Training, Action and Growth (TAG) are at the center of our service delivery model, as key ingredients of success in the real estate industry.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Definitely targeting my community, I am a licensed Real Estate Broker with a long-standing record of delivering the best results for clients. My areas of specialty span across all facets of the real estate industry, whether it is helping first-timers navigate the market, scoring on that distressed property, or helping investors through the crowded market. While working as a real estate broker in Florida, I built a reputation as an honest, result-driven, and professional with cutting-edge marketing skills and savvy negotiation skills.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
As a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and Greater of Tampa Realtors (GTR), I am exposed to a network of elite realtors with whom we share and build each other in the game. I bring my experience, adequate knowledge of the market, and adept skills to turn the impossible to possible for our valued clients. My passion for this industry is ardent. Home Prime Realty LLC is the vehicle to positively impact the lives of different people in the real estate industry, as part of my daily motivation to do good and become a better human being. My Goals is to Growth our company and become the biggest Hispanic Real Estate Brokerage in USA, As a person Become a Real Estate Mentor, Motivational Speaker, and Book Author.
