We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Aina Brei’Yon a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Aina thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?

In 2017, I made the decision to not only take my music career to the next level, but I also decided it was time for a rebranding. The music industry knew me as Temper, but in my heart of hearts I knew that I out grew Temper and it was time for me to evolve as an artist. Becoming Aina Brei’Yon was just what the universe ordered.

Becoming Aina, not only elevated me as an artist, it also jump started my journey into entrepreneurship. With Aina came 3K9 Productions, 3K9 Studios and The BreiYon Collection.

Aina , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

3K9 Productions was launched in 2019. I wanted to create a one stop shop for all things music production, mixing and mastering, hooks and everything in between. As my business model evolved 3k9 Studios emerged. 3k9 Studios is the visual branding connection you never knew you needed. We take your vision and make it a reality.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

Becoming a business owner I quickly learned that the best thing you could do for yourself was focus on your successes. When it comes to support, you want to focus on those that support you instead of those that do not. You are your only competition and even if your industry is saturated, it does not have you.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

The key to social media management is being true to yourself. You represent your brand in all that you do and people engage with creators that they can relate to. Instead of saying what you think they want to hear, share a message that highlights your true authentic self.
