Alright, Aimee thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s talk about innovation. What’s the most innovative thing you’ve done in your career?

I started off just doing furniture refurbishes and it blossomed into woodworking, interior and cabinet painting and even a pressure washing and handyman team!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

One Eleven Farmhouse is women owned and that sets us aside from most because women love the details.. from color choices to making a house a home, we have you covered! I sit down with my clients in consultations and go over exactly what the client envisions & offer my opinion. One Eleven Farmhouse has became family ran and everyone in my home has a part in it, just like in most clients homes. We do almost everything, furniture refurbing clients pieces, one of a kind furniture inventory, interior and cabinet painting, faux paintings (walls and countertops) and murals, front door makeovers, wood staining and repair, elevated house numbers, handywork and pressure washing!

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.

I’ve been a homeschool Mama for 18 years. I’ve always encouraged my kids to lead and learn what they were interested in focusing on skills. Skills have been a major part of my entire life since I was very small. I came from a long line of craftsman and grew up seeing all of my family use their hands to build and fix. I’ve always wanted to challenge myself and learn as much as I could. My business started as just a simple thing and is now my full time career! Milestone? I remember when I did some major woodworking and rebuilt legs on a vintage dresser that were non existent, I showed the progress and finished product on SM and right around then my phone started blowing up with people needing repairs and not “just” a paint job.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Social Media is fantastic for business owners but it’s really the word of mouth that makes the audience. If you have that, presence will build itself.
