We were lucky to catch up with Aidan Eaton recently and have shared our conversation below.
Aidan, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the story of how you went from this being just an idea to making it into something real.
To get started, we focused on branding, making our collaborative processes visible on our website to build trust with potential clients, as the key factor to our business model is transparency and trust. We also fine-tuned our business model, monetization strategies, and operations for efficiency. Our branding emphasized reliability and security, using blue and red colors to convey trustworthiness in performance marketing. With a solid foundation, we went after clients, leveraging our brand and unique business model to attract referrals and grow steadily. Our journey involved making smart decisions, planning carefully, and staying committed to delivering value to clients. At each step, refining our mode, work, and relationships was vital in establishing us as a trusted partner in performance marketing.

Aidan, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I started my journey studying business administration with a focus on advertising. As I explored freelancing, I found a passion for the creative side, particularly in design. After working at SSG and gaining expertise in SEO and web development, I took those skills and transitioned to consulting. This led me to collaborate with notable companies like SPX Flow, Trane Technologies, and Red Ventures.
After Being a consultant for so long, I started to look for a stable team environment where I was consistently part of a team. After a quick catch-up with Josh at a random bar, I joined WiT Group as the Creative Director and now Managing Partner. In this role, I wear a lot of hats, but I oversee branding, website design, development, and SEO. What I find most rewarding is solving problems and helping clients become more profitable. At WiT Group, we’re focused on delivering tangible results on a commission basis that make a difference for our clients, and that’s what sets us apart.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
We maintain strong connections with our clients and cultivate brand loyalty by prioritizing their needs and goals. Understanding what matters most to both the business and the individuals behind it is key. Regular communication is vital, and we consistently update clients on our progress towards their goals. For some, this means bi-weekly updates; for most, it’s a monthly check-in.
We go the extra mile to make these communication points visually appealing and professional. For instance, we provide an executive report each month, which we design for each individual brand, company, or person to showcase our progress and efforts. By incorporating design and creativity into these reports with a touch of personalization, we demonstrate our commitment and dedication, which resonates positively with our clients and fosters brand loyalty.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being creative is the opportunity to design something specifically for someone else. It’s about understanding that person through our interactions and creating a design that speaks directly to them in a way that resonates most with their preferences and sensibilities.
I find immense joy in tailoring how information is presented and how the brand is utilized to suit the client’s perspective and communication style. Whether it’s a proposal or any other deliverable, the true reward comes when I receive affirmation that the client has engaged with the material and genuinely appreciates the effort put into customizing it for them.
Getting that sign-off or receiving feedback that reflects genuine attention and interest is incredibly fulfilling. It’s not just about delivering a product; it’s about establishing a meaningful connection and effectively communicating with clients on a personal level. Taking the time to create something unique for each individual and seeing the impact of that effort is truly gratifying.
