We were lucky to catch up with Ahmad Wallace recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ahmad , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
I was working a government job for 6 years while being a business owner. I wanted to take my business to the level and that required me to dedicate more time to the business. After careful consideration, talks with my family, & prayer I made the decision to leave my good paying 9-5 behind to pursue my dreams. Most people wouldn’t dare leave a job paying 100K, health benefits, & security but I always wanted ownership and had a bigger vision for myself. I knew that this was going to be a big risk I was taking but it had to be done and no time was going the right time. Just had to bet big on myself and put that work in. Anything worth having requires risk, sacrifice, and hard work!!

Ahmad , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Ahmad Wallace, I am the owner and head trainer of SupremeFitness LLC. I have been into sports & fitness for majority of my life. After I finished with my college football career & did not make it to the next level I was lost & searching for my purpose. I knew I always wanted to give back to youth but I just didn’t know how I was going to go about that. Only thing I was passionate about was sports & fitness so I figured I’d use my knowledge & experience to motivate, uplift, & give back to the A lot of my tactics, strategies, way I train, way I instill discipline, hold my clients accountable are what I learned throughout my years & experience with sports & fitness. Each client workouts are crafted specifically towards their fitness goals. Honestly I don’t worry about other trainers and people in the fitness industry. I focus on myself and growth so that I can give my best to my clients. So I guess you say that sets me apart from others. My investment in myself so that I can provide the best to my clients. I am most proud of the continuous growth and innovation of my brand and business. Throughout this growth it is keeping me on my toes and keeping me sharp. I love that my clients buy into the program and really push themselves. I constantly test them mentally and physically and they are always up to the challenge. I always preach to them that change starts with them. Change happens when change happen.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
All the funding for the business came from me and my business partner. We both had jobs and did whatever it took to get the business off the ground. We both knew that it was going to take a lot of sacrifice & we were up to the challenge. I was working tons of overtime, on a strict budget (all money in no money out). We used to have our business meetings, & once we had our numbers it was time to execute & reach our milestones.
How’d you meet your business partner?
Me and my business partner are cousins. We both share some of the same interest and values when it comes to health/wellness & giving back. He also played collegiate football so he is just as passionate about it as well. But I am more of the fitness guy and workout guy and he is more of the business savvy type. So we just work and feed off one another. We use our strengths and we help each other with our weaknesses. We both are still growing and learning and I feel like that is what helps because we love to learn.
