We recently connected with Ahmad Smith and have shared our conversation below.

Ahmad, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

I was a property manager for over seven years. I was managing some of the most illustrious multi-family communities in Atlanta. However , I knew that there was something bigger for me , something I knew GOD had especially hand crafted for me. I remember one day GOD told me I wouldn’t be at my job too much longer. I sat there with such a baffled look on my face in response to what I had just heard. However, about two weeks later I was fired from my full time corporate job for the most simplest reason. Right then and there I knew it was time to follow my dreams. From that point I got to live my dream and my passion as a full time Entertainer. Later headlining the “Juneteenth festival” in Atlanta , Starred in the BET movie “Renny.” I also got nominated for nine awards this year , while opeing up for the GHH Awards two years in a row. These are just a few of the many accomplishments that came from taking “THE RISK.” I feel more in purpose than I ever have in life and it’s all due to following my dreams , eliminating fear, and once again taking the Risk!!!!

Ahmad, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Ahmad Smith , Im a full time Recording artist and Entertainer. I’ve been rocking stages for over a decade. Putting on some of the most memorable performances audiences have ever seen. I was eight years old when I first felt the energy of what the big stages bring. From that moment , I knew performing and Entertaining the masses is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I am super passionate about bringing the spirit of Love back into music and all of the entertainment industry. However , my love for entertainment doesn’t just stop at performing. I’m also well known for artist development , vocal arrangements, music development , and musical engineering. I run a full time mobile studio service , providing exceptional quality. I’ve worked with grammy award winning producers and engineers for many years, which is why I’m able to provide the level of service that I do . I strive to continue to be the best and top in my industry, not for bragging rights, but to inspire, develop, and motivate millions and billions of people to their GOD given destiny.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

To be honest , I think my stage presence and performing ability has made me stand out from others in my industry . I have been blessed to open up for major award shows , headlining festivals , and hosting major shows. My ability to control and audience /Crowd , really is what helped my reputation of being an amazing entertainer. I give GOD all the glory for my gift and hope that it inspires many to build a world renowned reputation in their industries.

Any advice for managing a team?

I love this question ! why ? because anyone who knows me or have ever worked with me knows that a family environment is what I thrive off of. I tend to cultivate my team in the direction of love and truth . Allowing GOD to lead me as I lead my team is the best way in my eyes on how to cultivate a strong family unit.
