We were lucky to catch up with Ahmad Free-cohen recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ahmad , appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Mae’s Moss is dedicated to supplying people with the best sea moss products available. We prioritize sustainability from the packaging we use, to the benefits our products provide. We believe in placing your health into your own hands, and what better way to start, than by taking a product that’s not only good for you, but void of all the things that are not.

So we got me into this industry, was simply wanting a healthier lifestyle for not only me but for people around me, I believe what set me apart from others is the simple fact that when you do buy for me, you feel like you’re buying from family. I make sure you feel welcome. I explained my product to the best of my ability. I make sure that if you have if you have any questions, you are always welcome to reach out to me. I try to make sure for a constant flow of communication and support for those who buy my Seamoss products and I also let people know that I have tried everything that I am selling and I use everything that I sell to you so everything that I give you is quality.

So what originally made me start my Seamoss journey were due to health problems I was having myself I was having chest pain. problems. almost suffered kidney failure, and almost had a stroke as well. I was 19 at the time overworking myself, and not taking care of my body the way I needed to, and after I had went to the hospital and found out what was wrong, I immediately started looking for natural ways to help my body, and that is when I stumbled upon sea moss. So not only do I sell a product I believe will help others. People with their health needs as well. I am a product of the very thing I am selling in order to promote healthier lifestyles..
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
So how I have come to build a social media president it all started with going to different pop-ups in different cities and learning to work and build bonds with every new customer. I treated every customer as if they were long time, family, and then return that strength in our bond and relationship and also translated towards social media with every share that they did for my business. Every review they gave and ultimately that’s what helped me started building on social media.
