We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Aglae Suarez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Aglae, thanks for joining us today. Do you take vacations? Why or why not?
Yes. I do at least twice per year. Sometimes in order to stay motivated you need a moment to reset and recharge

Aglae, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Aglae Margil but everyone calls me Aggie! I live locally in Kingwood, with my husband and two beautiful teenage daughters. I am the founder of Veggie-Juices, a cold pressed juice company. Our juices are designed to detox the body naturally, boost the immune system and restore gut balance. I started my healthy detox journey in 2017 after I developed circulation issues. Daily my legs would swell and ache, making it difficult to live the active lifestyle I was accustomed to. I was desperate to feel better without medication. I began researching healthy ways to reduce inflammation and improve circulation and I discovered all the benefits of cold-pressed juices. Juicing daily not only helped alleviate my circulation issues but it also improved my skin, regulated my digestion, improved my mood and boosted my energy. I couldn’t wait to share my experience with others.
Veggie-Juices started small, making juices for friends and family, developing recipes, and relying on word of mouth to grow the business. As the demand for our juices grew, I had to quickly learn logistics and the importance of customer satisfaction. My friends and family helped with logistics, and I tried to make sure all the customers were happy.
It has been 5 years since we started Veggie-Juices. I think a key to our success is being open to learning and implementing new ideas. In 2022 I became an ISSA certified nutritionist, which gave me the science to help develop more nutrient dense juices. We offer wellness shots which are packed with ginger, turmeric and lemon providing immune boosting properties of vitamin C. We also have one, two, three and up to five day detox programs. These are designed to cleanse the body, promote healthy digestion, decreased inflammation, boost immunity, and jump start weight loss. In the winter we offer a veggie detox soup which satisfies hunger, fills you with fiber and keeps you warm!
Veggie-Juices are cold-pressed and made with 100% raw fruits and vegetables purchased locally, alkalizing, detoxifying and healing. We never use processed ingredients, artificial colors, caffeine or sugar. Veggie-Juices are made in small batches every day and are bottled, labeled and sealed with love by hand.
How did you build your audience on social media?
As an entrepreneur you are always looking for ways to expand your business and reach more customers. Social media is a great place for marketing and networking. When I first began Veggie-Juices I would book demos at local health and fitness studios which took up a lot of time and guesswork as to which juices would sell the best that day. Developing an online presence utilizing Instagram, factbook, a website and tic-toc, allowed customers and businesses easier access to me and my juices. Customers were now able to place orders and view my product descriptions online. Social media also generated more opportunities within the community including local farmers markets, serving hospital staff during the Covid pandemic and having my products for sale in local Pilates and Yoga studios including Yoga one Kingwood, Vessel Pilates and Pure Passion Pilates.
My family and friends helped create Veggie-Juices social media presence and continue to support me with the day to day logistics of shooting videos & pictures of our products. I’m humbled daily by the support of my family, friends a

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
For me, one of the most effective ways for growing my clientele has been getting involved with my community. I started by getting to know other local small businesses in my area. I would get out and introduce myself, tell them about Veggie-Juices and then learn about their business. Together we would talk about ways to promote each other. Sometimes building a simple friendship is a first step to a meaningful partnership.
