Alright, Agie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Our Mission is to provide our customers with healthy and wellness skincare products, we value our customer’s trust that’s why we work hard each and every day to deliver excellent products to our customers.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?

My name is Agie Mbye. I am the owner and founder of S & F Body Scrubs LLC. I am from The Gambia (West Africa). I migrated to the United States in 2002. I started making natural skincare products in 2018 in my home kitchen. I named my company after my three beautiful daughters who are the inspiration behind my business. I admire the beauty of nature and all the natural ingredients it presents. My vision is to make people’s lives easier when it comes to finding natural skincare products that is safe for their skin.

S & F Body Scrubs LLC is proud to offer great quality products, we put lots of love and careful attention in each product. Our number one priority is making sure our customers reach their goals in having a great skin. We enriched our products with plant based oils, botanicals and natural plant extracts from herbs. We believe taking care of your skin is the best gift you can give yourself.

How’d you think through whether to sell directly on your own site or through a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc.

Yes we are currently selling on the Website and on Etsy. It’s going really great, we also have some of our products on Amazon and it’s definitely going well too. The business is growing and these platforms are very helpful.

Can you talk to us about manufacturing? How’d you figure it all out? We’d love to hear the story.

When I started in 2018 the first product I made was a coffee scrub and at that moment I knew I wanted to expand my business. In 2019 I took some classes to learn more about natural skincare and how to formulate my own products. I design and print out the packaging labels too.

The lessons I have learned along the way is making mistakes is part of the journey. I keep reminding myself that giving up is never an option.
