Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Agata And Warren Attersoll. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Agata and Warren, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
We only started our Travel Couple journey less than two years ago. Initially it was just a platform to connect with other travel creatives but we soon realized the potential for growth and a myriad of opportunities that exist as a creator.
Do we wish we had started sooner? Absolutely. Like any career, one does not start as a CEO but rather, one has to build up to be at the top.
We found that the learning curve is and continues to be steep!
Had we started eatlier – much earlier, we would have documented our travels. In the pre-Instagram era we visited London, England, Barbados, Poland, Cuba, NYC, Providence, Germany – and we have no content to show for it!
Additionally, we nurture our brand around 9-5 careers. So weekends and a few weeks of vacations are filled with activities.
Our family does come first, followed by creating our brand!
We love when the two combine. We had an opportunity to create UGC for a mountain chalet and we were able to bring the family! To date it was the best weekend ever!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Good day! We are Agata and Warren, a Travel Couple from Ottawa, Canada.
We entered the content creation industry about 2 years ago. Talk about a Babes in the Woods moment!
Since then we have evolved to become content creators/UGC extraordinaire.
There are a few things that set us apart from the run of the mill content creators.
We are focused, disciplined, creative, with excellent communication skills.
Our focus is to always present a destination, experience or product from a romantic perspective.
A trip to a Christmas Market? Sure, but we turn it into a datenight!
Promoting a water bottle? Sure, but let’s bring it on a romantic stroll in the woods!
We are very proud of our achievements. Over the past 2 years we’ve partneted with tourism boards ( Niagara Falls and Newport, RI), amazing experiences ( boat cruises, restaurant experiences, seasonal experiences, Formula 1 expo etc) and products ( phone cases, water bottles, scent products)
We have now become a brand unto ourselves and we love it!
We are always looking for partners to collaborate with.
We always produce a large quantity of creative UGC much to our partners’ delight.
We are always grateful to hear back from brands with whom we have partnered in the past. Their testimonials can be found on our website

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
When people learn of the successes of our brand they are usually dismissive. They see the tip of the iceberg and are often unwilling to move past it.
Let us give you an example.
In the spring we collaborated with Niagara Falls Tourism.
We were hosted in a falls view hotel, we ate at amazing restaurants, and we got to try out exceptional experiences, such as ziplining and helicopter tours.
It was an unforgettable experience.
And that is all that people see.
Let us shed some lights on the behind-the-scenes.
It took close to 4 months from making initial contact to the departure date.
Once we arrived ( driving ourselves without a gasoline allowance) we were given an itinerary of experiences to get through.
We were booked solid from sunup to sundown, often running in between in order not to miss the points. During this time we were taking photos and videos as part of the contract.
After our 3 day stay we put together over 1 GIG of content. The editing took the better part of a week.
So yes, being a content creator is a dream. We love the editing process and the creative side but we wish that people would understand that it is work.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Our goal is to build our brand!
We would love to expand our horizons and collaborate with tourism boards, hotels etc.
We know that our style is exceptional and we always offer the very best to our clients.
It is a dream to see our partners use our work in their advertising campaigns!
We hope to build on everything we’ve built thus far and to continue on this thrilling ride.
