Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Aerial Austin. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Aerial thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you scale up? What were the strategies, tactics, meaningful moments, twists/turns, obstacles, mistakes along the way? We’d love to hear the backstory the illustrates how you grew the firm
I love this topic because Real Estate is definitely a career where people assume you become a real estate agent and you make a lot of money and that is not the case AT ALL. Social Media plays a huge factor in this because we tend to post the house tours and the closing celebrations but there is so much that goes on behind the scenes that no one sees. One thing that I have learned is “nothing in business is overnight”, it has taken me years of hard work, being a student, many late nights and early mornings to get to where I am in my career today and I am still working every day to get to where I want to be.
When I first started my career in 2019, I was working full time in the financial Industry. I sold one home my first year in real estate and that was only because my sorority sister wanted to purchase a home and she believed in me to help her make it happen. While working in corporate, I quickly realized there was no such thing as doing real estate “part-time” so I had to learn how to dedicate the same number of hours to real estate as I was to my other job. This took a lot of sacrifice and consistency but as a result my clientele started to increase, and I took a leap of faith and quit my corporate job to go work a third shift security position that would allow me to have my days for real estate. From here I went from working 40 hours a week, down to part time, then I was able to quit and not only get a regular sleep schedule back but also dive into my career even further.
In 2022 I joined NOIRE Group LLC, which was such a huge blessing to my career and from there I was able to launch “Austin Real Estate Group”, my team where I now mentor and coach 4 new agents under me. Having various mentors throughout my career in real estate played such a vital role in where I am today, and I have always said when I got to a point where I could do the same for other agents I would. Always being a sponge, a student, and keeping in mind there is always more to learn has truly been the foundation of my business and successes.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
“Being Myself” helped me build my reputation within my market. I have good character, I am trustworthy, I am transparent, and I am a Kind person who has the best interest of my clients. Who I am in real life is also how I show up in my business and my clients appreciate that and always send more business because of it. Being yourself while also being professional, having good customer service skills and creating an exceptional client experience goes a long way in the Real Estate industry.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Almost all of my clients are from social media or are referral based! This goes back to what I previously stated about “Being Myself”. I have always been very transparent in real life and on social media which attracts clients. I use social media like a resume but also interact with and educate my followers. I also make sure to give my clients the best experience and because of this they refer business my way as well.
