We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Adrienne Womack. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Adrienne below.
Adrienne, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
My business is called The EnneSight Coach. The term “EnneSight,” pronounced like insight, derives its distinctive spelling from the last four letters of my first name, Adrienne. In various roles as a daughter, friend, coach, mentor, and leader, I’ve been recognized for providing profound and thoughtful perspectives that illuminate diverse situations. When establishing my coaching business, the essence of insight resonated with me. It became especially meaningful to use my own name uniquely to spell “insight” and name my company.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
As someone who once navigated the world of collegiate sports and has since transitioned into the corporate realm, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the significance of empowering individuals, athletes, and teams in both arenas.
My passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of others is at the heart of The EnneSight Coach. I am a Certified Communication IQ™ Consultant who provides communication coaching to individuals, athletes, and teams (both sports & organizational) using the Communication IQ™ System and the Kendal Life Languages Profile™ (KLLP{™). I am currently working on obtaining other certifications to better serve others. My vision is to extend empowerment to individuals in both the sports and corporate spaces, providing them with profound “ennesights” to foster a deep understanding of themselves and those around them. Through this, my ultimate goal is to help them unlock their full potential and flourish in their personal, relational, and professional lives.
Any advice for managing a team?
For a vibrant team atmosphere, champion open conversations, share genuine appreciation, and collectively set clear goals. Nurture a positive work vibe where everyone feels valued and heard, celebrating each other’s unique strengths. Support personal and professional growth, and lead with your heart, showing dedication and resilience. Embrace each milestone, big or small, and address challenges with a collaborative spirit. Foster trust by empowering individuals and championing their autonomy. In weaving this supportive culture, you’ll not only elevate team morale but also create a close-knit work family that thrives on shared successes and genuine connections.
Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
