We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Adrianna Ramos a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Adrianna, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
My hope with Find Your Vibe is to inspire women that they can live fulfilling lives. We have the power to create the life we want that is equally fulfilling and exciting. It can be created by making changes in your day to day and life not just based on your career and material things.
Adrianna, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I launched my coaching business to help others find their purpose in 2021. I had always wanted to be a coach since I was 22. I had always been in mentor/ guidance type of roles since middle school, but I thought I couldn’t coach people until I was way older and more “experienced”. During the pandemic, I was trying to figure out how I could monetize my audience from my social media pages surrounding festival content. I didn’t want to coach on growing a social media following because I felt my purpose extended far beyond that.
I eventually hired a coach at the end of 2020 to help me create and build my coaching business. With her help, I was able to get the business up and running by March 2021. I ultimately quit my 9-5 prior to that because I was ready to focus on my business and had enough savings to support myself.
In March, I took on a few free clients to work on my coaching skills and the program I had created. A month later, I was able to launch my first official 1-1 coaching program and entirely sold it out. I was helping my clients find their purpose and put it into action.
Since then, I have been learning more about myself as a coach and how to better serve my clients. I am really all about meeting where my clients are, creating a plan to support them, and then holding them accountable to make progress. I absolutely love what I do and through this process, I have rebranded to a Fulfillment Life Coach teaching women how to be fulfilled in their life and their day to day.
I now have programs throughout the year to help my clients get to a more fulfilled life from 1-1 programs to group programs. I am so proud of the business I’ve built and am so grateful for the over 40 women who have trusted me to support them on their journey.
Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
Technically my side hustle was creating content for the music festival industry and community. I began creating content in 2017 for this industry on how to prepare for music festivals as well as music recommendations and such. I have maintained this platform and was able to monetize the audience I’ve grown on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok by offering life coaching services. Almost all of my clients have come from my first side hustle which has allowed me to grow my business and take it full-time.
Some of the key milestones were definitely starting those pages and staying consistent in showing up and providing value. From there, the pandemic was a period of me still showing up despite events being canceled, but figuring out what I could do for my future. Once I knew the direction I wanted to go, hiring a business coach helped me to put into action what I wanted to do which was coaching.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
When I think about my time on social media for the past decade, what really has helped me in growing my following is staying consistent, experimenting with content, providing value, and taking breaks as needed. It’s important to try out a variety of posts to see what does well and provide value in the process. I also think it’s important to stay consistent, but take breaks when necessary to avoid burnout. Finally, finding ways to connect with your community is important so responding to comments and DMs as well as doing in-person meetups.
