Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Adrianna Miller. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Adrianna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I wanted to be a Registered Nurse (RN) due to my extensive medical and educational background and even currently enrolled taking classes for nursing but I knew deep down I’ve always wanted to be a successful entrepreneur! Everything needed from the forming of the entity to building the website was complete yet, still not ready to launch trying to strive for perfection. Playing around on social media one day and accidentally posted the link on Facebook. Nervous and shaking I mean emotions everywhere. It was at the moment when I realized that god had other plans for by business and no other option but to accept it and move forward with those plans.

Adrianna, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Adrianna Miller a dedicated mother above all things. I’ve always had a different outlook for my life even after obtaining a B.S in Biology and MBA in Healthcare Administration there was still something missing. One who enjoys setting the tone for myself and doing things how I believe they should be done. I started making custom handmade cup covers. My daughters eye for fashion along with the need for appropriate girls fashion pieces forced the business in a different direction. The mommy and me ran fashion studio was created to bridge the fashion gap for little girls. All Fashion Pieces and Accessories are all curated by daughter Gabby. The hope is that parents can allow their little girls to fully express themselves through some of exclusive items.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
The initial funding for my business came from my 9-5. Since starting the business venture I have started building my Business Credit Profile and through doing research found different Tradelines and Grants to help cover other business related expenses.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Woooooo where do I start. The one lesson that I had to unlearn was trying to be completely PERFECT! It does not exist! Being proud of yourself is a super power and a daily challenge. Its about continually making progress no matter where you’re at in your business. Achieving your goals isn’t always easy, keep going and don’t quit even when things get hard.
