We recently connected with Adrianna Gonzalez and have shared our conversation below.
Adrianna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
The Story Behind the Name
Salt and Sol: A Personal Connection
The inspiration for “Salt and Sol Studios” comes from the Bible, where Jesus calls His followers the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world.” These words align with my Christian faith and my approach to photography, where I strive to capture the essence of love by listening to the stories of couples and infusing my work with humor and personality.
Salt of the Earth
I see myself as the salt of the earth, preserving precious memories, adding flavor to life through my art, and always bringing a fun and engaging approach to every shoot.
Light of the World
Photography, for me, is a way to shed light on the beauty of everyday moments, guiding others to see the world from a unique and hopeful perspective. I’m not just capturing images; I’m capturing emotions and the essence of your love story.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
For over a decade, I’ve been more than just a wedding photographer. I’ve been a storyteller, a listener, and a friend to countless couples. My journey has been filled with creativity, passion, and growth, but also laughter, personality, and deep connections. Today, I’m thrilled to introduce Salt and Sol Studios, a name that resonates with my faith, aspirations, and the unique approach I bring to my craft.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
I am a wedding photographer that went from side hustle to business owner literally over night. I worked a corporate job for 10 years before I was laid off due to covid, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me from pursuing my creative passion. That led me to start photographing weddings full-time in 2020.
When I first started my business, I knew that I would face some challenges. I had no experience running a business, and I was competing with established photographers who had been in the industry for years. I also had to learn how to market my services and find clients. But I was determined to succeed, and I worked hard to overcome these challenges.
I am proud to say that I have been able to overcome these challenges and build a successful business. I have photographed over 100 weddings, and I have received rave reviews from my clients. I am also starting to book my own weddings, which is a major milestone for me. I am excited to see what the future holds for my business, and I am confident that I can continue to grow and succeed.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
With Salt and Sol Studios, I’m not just offering a service; I’m offering an experience. An experience filled with laughter, connection, and memories that will last a lifetime.
