We recently connected with Adriana Kyser and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Adriana thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
I was born and raised in Caracas Venezuela. I always knew I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives and at an early age, I decided I was going to be a lawyer. I went to Law school for 2 years before my mom and I decided to go to the USA to go to school for a few months to become fully bilingual before going back and finishing law school.
Little did I know that I would meet my husband.. we dated for 3 months or so and got married. We have been happily married for 26 years.
Even though I didn’t finish law school, my childhood dream of making a difference in people’s lives became true. I’ve been able to support thousands of people around the world through yoga, holistic wellness, and energy alchemy.
Let me start by saying, that moving to the US and leaving everything I knew behind was not easy. I encountered racism and nasty remarks for being an immigrant, for being different, and for having an accent. All of which made me become self-conscious, feel inadequate, and not speak in public. I would ask my husband to speak for me because I didn’t want to be judged by my accent… In a way, I lost my voice and the sense of who I was.
For years I suffered from chronic pain and the journey of looking for ways to heal myself lead me to Yoga and holistic wellness. I realized that while the pain was very physical the root cause was emotional. After lots of training, certifications, and personal work, I’m no longer in pain and my whole life changed for the better.
For the past 17 years, I’ve been blessed to have traveled the world leading teacher trainings, international retreats, and special events.
In moments like this, when I have to share my story, I’m able to reflect back at all of the things (good and not so good) that helped me become the person I was meant to be.
I would have never imagined that coming to the US “for a few months to become fully bilingual” would change my life for ever.

Adriana, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Since I was a child, I always wanted to make a positive impact on people’s lives, specifically, women who feel “not good enough”, lack confidence, and in some ways, feel broken… all of which lead to some type of pain. The type of pain that wakes us up in the middle of the night worrying and stressing about something we can’t control. The type of pain that makes us eat away our feelings, or the type of pain that won’t go away despite our best efforts.
After suffering from chronic pain for over a decade and trying different conventional treatments to find temporary relief… I knew I had to address the mental and emotional aspects of myself and not just the physical pain. I didn’t want a future where I had to take medication like it was candy just to manage my pain. I did lots of personal development work, got certified in different holistic modalities, and became a transformational coach, wellness expert, and energy alchemist.
I believe that the best investment you can make is to invest in your physical, mental, and emotional wellness. They are essential for optimal health, happiness, and a life with purpose.
For the past 17 years I’ve helped over 4500 men and women worldwide achieve anything from reduced pain and stress, to a healthier body, increased clarity, and unstoppable confidence. I’ve helped them heal from past emotional hurt and release negative patterns… so they can step FULLY into their power, transforming their pain into purpose and their fears into confidence.
Through my work with my clients, I found 4 key components to long lasting health, happiness, and of fulfillment
This is a process I call Enlightened Alchemy™. – a complete holistic approach to mind/body and emotional wellness. I used different tools based on many years of trainings and customize each session to the needs of my clients.
The results vary from client to client but include pain relief, weight loss, better sleep, more energy, feeling whole, positive changes, better relationships, more confidence, and more.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
During my first yoga teacher training, one of the lead teachers shared a possible job opportunity with the group. When I approached her in private to learn more I was told “this job is for someone like x or x she mentioned some of my peers)”. At that moment all I heard was ” YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH” a too familiar phrase.
As I child a family member told me many times you are not good enough or you are too… fill in the blanks. This phrase kept me in an emotional prison where I kept trying harder and held myself to unrealistic standards just to prove that I was good enough.
When that teacher told me at that moment that the job was intended for someone like those classmates, all of my insecurities and wounds came up. I cried, I wanted to quit, and hide. I felt so small and inadequate.
However, I’m not a quitter and somehow I got a job teaching yoga before I finished my training. Less than two years later, I’m traveling the US leading trainings and especial events. Soon after, I started to lead international luxury wellness and adventure retreats and teacher trainings in places like China, Taiwan, Germany, Ireland, Greece, Ecuador, Peru, Indonesia, and all over the U.S.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Being authentic, living my purpose, and truly caring about my clients. I go above and beyond what’s expected. I like to under-promise and over-deliver.
Also having so many trainings and years of experience working with clients who have actually gotten results has been crucial.
