We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Adrian & Shyan Singh a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Adrian & Shyan, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
First, I would like to begin by showing gratitude towards my parents as they purchased the real estate course for Adrian and I when we turned 18. It was a birthday gift for the both of us with the intent to do real estate on the side while focusing on our studies at University. It was a blessing in disguise as we did not realize how a simple real estate license would soon turn into our greatest passion.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Adrian and I are REALTORS® for GWorld Properties to which we specialize in new construction and luxury properties in the Central Florida region, we convert renters into owners and assist with first time home buyers throughout the entire process from signing of contract to closing, we work with investors to guide them in making a wise investment purchase, and we utilize all resources to get sellers maximum value on their properties. Adrian and I are known as the “propertysiblings” which sets us apart from other agents as we are a family business team. Additionally, the knowledge we hold adds a great deal of value to our work; we are constantly listening to podcasts and reading real estate news to be up to date with the market. The most rewarding part of our job is changing someone’s entire life; some of our clients get denied from other lenders and were told they are not able to purchase a home or they never imagined they could own their dream home. It is gratifying to know our clients are able to trust us 100% and be satisfied with their decision on purchasing a home through us. We are most proud of the relationships we have built with our clients not just during the transaction sale but after the sale.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
We both started off doing real estate at a young age; we were even the youngest agents for our brokerage and with God’s will, Adrian was top producer for our brokerage in 2019. We were known to assist first time home buyers that had poor credit and low income by working with them for more than 6 months in order to turn their dreams into a reality of becoming a home owner. It is extremely rewarding to be known as honest and hard working realtors. Adrian and I sold a home to a client that was denied for many years and did not even imagine they could own a home. Once that day was finally here, it brought tears to his eyes knowing that he does not have a home for just him, but also for his son.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
We rely strictly on referrals and having an active social media to gain new clients. Having a good relationship with my clients during the housing process and even after closing has helped me grow my clientele because I make my clients a priority to feel comfortable to trust me. Additionally, having a quick response time and responding outside of working hours is something that has benefited me in growing my business.
