We recently connected with Adrian Moore and have shared our conversation below.
Adrian, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
Through a mix of a very loud but helpful professor from my college days, my visual eye thanks to watching anime and reading comics, and growing up during the age of music videos being on weekly tv I used elements from all of those things to make my photography style.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a photographer based out of Fayetteville NC. I got into photography when I was in college. I was doing my final portfolio preparations for Fayetteville Technical Community College when my brother noticed some of the photography was a lot better than some of my graphic designs and he made me put those photos in. The rest was history after that. What I offer is photography of all types from wrestling events, to weddings, to conventions, and anything else I can use to expand my talents. The problems I solve are how to capture moments that can last years after they take place in a way that allows my subject/client to tell their story. What sets me apart from many other photographers is that I don’t hide what my influences for my style of work is (nerd culture, pro wrestling, music videos, etc). One thing I am most proud of is having the chance to photograph my childhood at a convention when I photographed past Power Rangers I would spend my Saturday mornings following their adventures. The main things I want my followers and potential clientele to learn is that I am here to tell your story in a way that doesn’t need words, but can still say just as much as a written story. That is my mission with the Artistic Ascension brand.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Yes. I wish I learned about marketing myself earlier. That is the one area I wish I learned better then than I did now. I know now that if I want folks to see my work I need to market it as much as I can.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal/mission for my photography is to show how the world looks in my eyes using my camera as the narrator in a sense.
