We recently connected with Adren Cook and have shared our conversation below.
Adren, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
For as long as I can remember, my unwavering focus has been on bridging the gap and empowering people, regardless of the field or lane I find myself in. One of the gifts that I cherish the most is my visionary nature, allowing me to see beyond the present and envision the next level or the ideal roadmap to bring ideas to life. This ability has always come naturally to me, and it’s complemented by a deep-rooted motivation to help others succeed and thrive. Witnessing the growth and success of others brings me immense joy and fulfillment, which has ultimately become the driving force behind my mission to empower people and make a lasting difference.
As a dedicated Digital Marketer, I am passionate about empowering those who lack the necessary tools or resources to take their passion-fueled business to new heights. It’s disheartening to witness numerous instances where small business owners struggle to achieve significant milestones due to a lack of support or direction. My aim is to fill this gap by providing the assistance and guidance they need to thrive. As an Events Coordinator, my approach is simple yet impactful – to flawlessly execute the envisioned event and turn it into a cherished core memory for all involved.
So for every single mother who wants to find herself again in her business, I want to help. For the 20-something year old creative who could earn revenue from their talents, I want to be their village. For anyone, especially those that look like me, who want to make something happen and move the world in any way, I aim to make that journey a lot easier. I understand that the impressions we leave on people are limited, so I strive to make my impact, both personally and for my clients, truly extraordinary.
Adren, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

The difference between myself and others in my field is my passion for longevity with those I work with. Iv’e worked with my clients from inception of the first project or start of their business all the way through them preparing to sell a successful and established product. That is something I am most proud of. I want to nurture my clients and what they’ve created from the beginning. Even with my personal brand, I encourage my audience to try new things, ask certain questions, a learn through my experiences. I ultimately want anyone I work with to feel inspired.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
A moment that helped to shape who I am today is when I started working immediately after graduating from undergrad. Ideally, at the time I wanted to work in radio being that it was what I had experience in and enjoyed doing. God had other plans. Before graduating I had a job secured working at a mental and behavioral facility for children. Children are a big passion for me so I was upper it since it also gave me the financial securityI needed at the time. What I found out really quickly is that it was going to be the most difficult and challenging job I would ever have. Just to give you perspective, It was a forty-plus hour work week that consisted of 16-hour shifts every Saturday where I had to care for kids ranging from five to nineteen that battled with things like abuse, homelessness, mental disorders, sexual trauma and much more. That weighed heavy on my mental health but sure enough I brought a piece of myself to that space. I began planning events such as proms, fashion shows, college tours, self-care events and anything that allowed me to be creative and gave the kids new experiences that they may never have. I also tapped into my business skills and was able to build partnerships with the faculty and major brands such as Rue21.
All growth comes from uncomfortable situations. As difficult as it was to be in that kind of space, I had to pivot. I had to take the skills I had and impact the space which made it memorable for everyone involved. Very similar to what I do now with my clients. I knew if I could improve a place like that, I could do so much more.
How did you build your audience on social media?
We currently live in a digital era. A time where Social Media is a major part of our lives. The one thing that I always try to do is keep the “Social” part of social media. When you look at the timeline and evolution of social media you notice how the content that people look for has changed. People don’t care for super polished, and salesy, content. People want the real thing. They want to feel seen and related to. They want a connection. Don’t get me wrong, everyone loves a “vibe” or aesthetic (especially me), but you can inspire people with your own style of content without losing the human essence.
The biggest takeaway is the interaction. I like starting a conversation in the comments, asking questions, and sharing content with your audience based on other interests. You have to feed the relationship. That’s a great way to also get more loyal audience members.
I also use social media as my “art”. I love aesthetics and being able to display that on my platforms. I love content that can make me feel something. I’m really big on story telling and setting a scene. That is what allows me to have fun in a digital world. People can recognize when you do something for show versus it being who you are. Once you understand your brand or who you are, and represent those layers in your content, you’re halfway there.
