We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Adi Klevit. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Adi below.
Adi, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about the early days of establishing your own firm. What can you share?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial streak, and I ran two side businesses that did very well. There came a point in my life when I realized I needed to make a real decision—was I going to continue to dabble in having my own business, or was I going to be serious about it and go all in? I decided to go all in, and I am so happy that I did. I started my own company, and I love it! The first thing I needed to do was identify my clients and determine who I was going to serve. Once I figured that out, I needed to make it known that I exist and get out of obscurity. I began building a strong network of referral partners and collaborators. I discovered a whole new area that was completely foreign to me—how to build a network and how to foster business relationships and collaborations. This has proven very successful for me, and I discovered that I really enjoy it and consider my connections the biggest asset of my business. Another challenge I faced was honing in on what we do best and what our area of specialty is. When I started the business, I was a generalist. I knew that I liked helping business owners and that I was very good at it, and I had very good success with it. Then I realized there was a specific need my clients had that was not being fulfilled, which was for someone to create, document, and implement their processes and procedures. Once I identified that niche and focused on it, we began to grow. I hired staff and started to delegate. I created my own internal processes and procedures and made it very easy to train and onboard employees. I now have a strong team, and we have helped hundreds of businesses scale and grow.
My advice for a young professional who might be considering starting their own firm is to do it. There is nothing like being an entrepreneur and having the freedom, ability to control your own destiny, and being able to be creative. However, it does require courage, dedication, and hard work, but the rewards are amazing.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
My best source of new clients has been referrals. I love networking and developing relationships. I enjoy helping others and truly believe in the “Givers Gain” philosophy. I also love connecting people so they can collaborate, and there’s a lot of reciprocity in that. My referral partners know that we will take great care of their referrals and that we are committed to helping them.
Any fun sales or marketing stories?
Before the pandemic, my primary marketing strategy involved extensive in-person networking. When the pandemic halted these activities, I faced a significant challenge in continuing to expand my network and engage potential clients. During this time, I had been a guest on several podcasts and it dawned on me that this could be an innovative way to continue connecting with people.
Seeing the potential, I took a risk and launched my own podcast, “Systems Simplified.” This was a venture into unknown territory for me, transitioning from face-to-face interactions to creating a virtual space for dialogue. The odds were uncertain—podcasting was a saturated market, and making a mark was no small feat.
Luckily, I was introduced to RISE 25, the company that produces my podcast. They helped me set it up and create a strategic blueprint to execute it. With their experience and guidance, I was able to get up and running very fast.
Now, several years later, the podcast has become a cornerstone of my marketing strategy. It allows me to meet wonderful people with incredible stories and to help them share their experiences with the world, while simultaneously providing valuable content to my audience. Every episode is an opportunity to engage with new ideas and perspectives, which has not only enriched my professional network but also positioned my brand at the forefront of thought leadership in my industry.
