We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Adi Kaplan a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Adi, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
I have a Masters in Industrial Engineering, but went a totally different direction. At the age of 40, when many of my friends decided to go the Botox way, I knew I was going to work my way into well-aging (I am not anti anything :-) ) and decided to go the NOtox way! I will do all I can to reduce my wrinkles, get a glow to my face and look great THE NATURAL WAY. Besides, every wrinkle I have – I earned with hard work :-) I love treating people. I love seeing results. And most of all – I love educating & spreading the word about natural proaging!
Adi, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Similar to what I wrote before, I got into this holistic healing and natural cosmetics world. The wayvI started my business was that my facial reflexology teacher went on a live with one of the influencers I followed. She opened her content for free for 30 days. At the time I was a stay at home mom. My husband had bad allergies so I tried a protocol on him and it worked almost instantly! He encouraged me to go learn it and today, 2 years later I own my private holistic facial spa and went on to learn more modalities from top notch professionals!
My treatments include:
Gua sha
Facial cupping
Facial reflexology
Lymphatic drainage
Fascia release
Kansa wand
Tuning forks
Thai puoltice
All used in my many types of facials
Most of my clients come to get brighter, tighter and younger looking skin in a natural way and a special bonus is a total body makeover through the reglex points on the face (the face is a map of the body and with facial reflexology I can treat the body through the face).
I have sone special clients who come in purely for healing (TMJ, sinus infections, back pain, etc) and they are amazed at how their face looks when they leave!
I know there are .any skeptics out there, but this really works!
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I am not a big fan of social media, it sucks up alot if my time, I’m not good at it and it’s easy to get addicted, but… because my goal is to spread the word about holistic healing and natural selfcare, that’s the only way to spread the word globaly. The way to expand my reach is to collaborate with other I fluencers, to go live, to use trending music and to comment on other influences posts!
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Honestly, social media and even Google! Because I have a unique business, and it is very specific, who ever searches for holistic facial and facial lymphatic drainage in my area – I am the only one! These days word of mouth also helps because once someone trys my service they want to let all their friends know about it! I do promotions gor gift cards and msny of my clients buy them for their friends & family.
