Hi Aderinsola, thanks for joining us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?

The jump from idea to execution for Infuzed.co took six months. I had the idea in early January 2023 and launched in June 2023.

Initially, I had to figure out if I had what it took, and honestly, I didn’t have all the answers. What kept me going was the strong feeling that God was telling me to launch. When I started, I had no clear vision of what exactly I was launching, with many questions left unanswered. But I was confident because I knew the one who sent me was solidly behind me.

It was truly a test of faith. I did extensive research, often without a clear picture of the final idea. I was investigating anything and everything, trying to piece together the full concept.

In starting Infuzed.co, I had to dive into market research, product development, and setting up the business. I took it one step at a time, learning and adapting as I went along. Each day brought new challenges and discoveries, gradually allowing me to move beyond the idea phase and successfully launch my business.

My name is Aderinsola Oyebade, and I’m the founder of Infuzed.co. I started this business out of a passion for creating memorable experiences through exceptional catering and event services.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

One lesson I had to unlearn the myth that people will support you because they know you. The truth is that not everyone will believe in your dreams or support you, especially the ones that know you personally, familiarity sometimes won’t let them see you in your full capacity.
I realized I had to be my biggest cheerleader. Over time, people will come along, but you can’t wait for validation from others to boost your confidence. Trust in yourself and keep pushing forward, regardless of external support. God on your side is all you need.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I was simply myself! I decided if I was gonna be present on social media, might as well show people who I really am!
My biggest advice is, don’t worry about the numbers! When you start out, you might look crazy, but you won’t know what you’re good at until you try everything. I did—and I’m still doing everything! Dancing, talking, skits, the whole nine yards!

To build your audience, you have to connect with them genuinely and always be yourself. Your clients want to see the real you and connect authentically before they even think of patronizing you. So, be bold, experiment, and let your true personality shine through.
