We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Adedotun Adeniji a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Adedotun, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?
Shortly after I bagged my Bsc, reality hit me and I wanted something more for myself and I didn’t know what to do at the time but I surely wasn’t set on been average. 2019 was a year to process my entire life and look into some areas I could harness.
What motivated me was the urge to do more and better, and more importantly to have a legacy. So I took the leap of faith and started and haven’t looked back since then .
And if I started sooner I would have gone farther for sure, but better late than never. This is the third year and it’s as though we started yesterday.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers?
9JAPR247 is a Creative Media Agency. We specialize in Content/Music/Product Marketing, which commenced 7th December 2019.
I think what really sets us apart from other brands is our uniqueness. Though we are still coming up, we have broken records we never thought was possible in a short period of time.
We want prospective clients/followers to know we got their brand’s interest at heart. We treat every brand/creative/artist like family, which makes us achieve our goals.
And also we are affordable, we work within our client’s budget so there is no restriction.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Our best source has been from feedbacks. Most time when we approach clients they seem unsure but when they see what we did for another brand, they usually want to know more.
So far our feedbacks has been really good, no bad feedback whatsoever.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What has helped us so far within this market is the ability to stand out and not do what others do. And also getting support or a push from heavyweights in the industry. It’s not everyday you get so see people like that loving what you do or can relate to the work you do.
