Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Addie Pecord. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Addie, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Folks often look at a successful business and imagine it was an overnight success, but from what we’ve seen this is often far from the truth. We’d love to hear your scaling up story – walk us through how you grew over time – what were some of the big things you had to do to grow and what was that scaling up journey like?
In late 2023, I expanded my interior design business with the opening of LA Studio and Co., a home decor and design store in Edwards, Colorado. Perfectly integrating interior design services with a fresh inventory of in-stock pieces. I actively work in the store as often as possible to ensure a seamless and enjoyable design process for all of my clients.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
With over eight years of experience in interior design, I have completed several projects in the Vail Valley and beyond and have left a mark on each one of the homes. My passion for design and commitment to excellence have fostered lasting relationships with my clients.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Being born and raised in the Vail Valley has been a benefit to building my reputation. I have come to know so many people during my time here. I would not be where I am today without the support of everyone around me. I feel I have continued to grow and my reputation has as well. I strive to be personable and positive so everyone I meet feels connected.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I am fortunate enough to see most of my clients around town or when they pop into the store. Several clients have become friends so talking or meeting up happens to be a great way to stay in touch. For other clients or long distance clients, I feel social media is a good way for them to see what is new at LA Studio & Co.
