Hi Adam, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

The story behind my mission was always to help people period! To elaborate on that I’ve always wanted to make people’s visions come true and help to inspire them to continue dreaming and building things they create in their mind. For example the perfect wedding, their dream event, their big show, etc. I’ve always just wanted to see the work I do for them and be happy and feel like they can cherish the moment forever.

Adam, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

First off, my name is Adam Ogard, owner of Adam David Photography & Film LLC. I officially started my business in August of 2018 when I was injured with an Achilles Tendon tear. I’ve been doing photography and creating videos/movies since I was about 11 or 12 and had worked hard doing basic shoots for clients to build my portfolio and experience leading up to my business launch. Being as I’d created content for myself and others leading up to starting a business I wanted to do it to the best of my abilities even though I didn’t have all the means and tools. This is where I learned to discipline myself and work hard to be able to buy and learn to use everything I needed to be successful. I was always taught work with what you have so that’s what I did. I got a basic dslr camera and 2 lenses for $350 dollars and started doing bigger events like weddings and concerts. This helped me build confidence after time to move from where I am currently living, Arizona, from Minnesota where I started my business. One of my most proud moments was my first big wedding as a business owner. The couple didn’t have many specific ideas for their photos which worked out in my favor and gave me a chance to create. Knowing that this was my calling, as is every client, I really prepared to make their day stress free in my department and better then they expected! After the day they were so impressed with how smoothly it went they left me my first glowing 5 star review. This made me remember clearly my purpose to help others! I fell in love with the feeling of being able to create something that will live with people forever and I strive to continue doing that for people.
I think what sets me apart and what I want people to know about Adam David Photography & Film LLC is we are truly passionate about what we do! We are committed to helping every client create the perfect moment they can keep forever! When you do things with purpose I believe everybody wins and I want all past and future clients to know they can depend on us and we believe what we do is more then just a service, it’s a bond and a piece of life!

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

I want to be one of the top photographers & cinematographers I. The world. And I want people to be proud to say that and put my business in that category.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

I had to unlearn being comfortable. I use to think being comfortable is good and being uncomfortable is bad. Being uncomfortable is what drives you and tests your skills! I had to learn that diving into the uncomfortable moments are what separates a decent or good business from a Top Great business.
