Adam, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Is there a heartwarming story from your career that you look back on?
After being brain-injured, paralyzed, unable to communicate, or even to think, I witnessed the loyalty and love that my family and friends all gave me. They all stood by my side, supporting and loving me back to recovery.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
About six years ago, I was one of the top fitness influencers in California, with nearly hundreds of thousands of followers. I was being interviewed and collaborating with top influencers who had millions of followers. I was also developing my own fitness application for phones. However, a few weeks before the launch of my company, I fell into a tragic accident in Thailand, which resulted in a skull fracture. The oil from the motorcycle engine caused severe brain damage, leaving me in a coma for 10 days. Initially labeled as dead, I remained in a vegetative state for the rest of my life.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Doctors, surgeons, and rehabilitation therapists across various countries and states all said that I would never recover to be a functional human being. However, I proved them all wrong.
Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Patience, strategy, and never needing to be in a rushed to feel fulfilled
