We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ace Truen. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ace below.
Ace, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
I have a new music Project I’m about to release Titled ” Freedom” on July 4, 2023. The backstory is My Story, my Father’s Story and my Ancestors story. On a Quest or shall I say a journey for Freedom. In my heart I still feel we are in chains in more ways than one which are Mentally, Physically and Spiritually. Physically we as in Melanated people have the most incarcerated beings in the United States. Mentally our music, literature, and influences have been dumb down to a place of no substance and guidance to nothing meaningful. Our draw is to Material things that truly have no value to us as a people. Our Hip Hop Rap culture has turned into a billboard for Sex, Money, and violence to be glorified as the way to go about life. With this project I dare to be different. With the rest of my career, I dare to be different. I will use my voice, My musical God given Talent to pour out a true spirit of knowledge, encouragement, inspirational and motivational tunes to penetrate the hearts of Man, Woman and child. Yes, I too have a past where I’ve done so called bad things but no longer will I use my voice to speak on these matters other than a testimonial presentation. Never to glorify low frequency-negative energy deeds. I make a stand and choose to be a beacon of light verses a reflection of darkness. I offer you Positive energy, a loving heart and words of elevation for Life.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The reward for me is knowing I created something that made someone smile. My words in one of my songs helped someone through a rough time. Knowing my music moved somebody in a positive way even if it’s just one person. I wish that my music touch Millions but most important is that it touches with Positivity and Love.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
My best advice about this is being consistent and passionate about what you do as far as uploads and content. It takes time. As your portfolio grows you will grow. Everybody fanbase is different. Everybody will not reach 1 million views or followers so be realistic with yourself and allow time for growth. Stay encouraged and focused.
