We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Abrahaam. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Abrahaam below.
Abrahaam, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
Today, I would say the most significant project I’ve worked on is the remix of Lady Gaga’s “Free Woman” for her collaboration with Dom Pérignon Champagne. Everything about this campaign was epic, even how it came to me!
I was on vacation in Corsica with my wife when I got a text from a music supervisor: “Would you be interested in remixing LG?” LG? Who’s that? I never imagined he meant Lady Gaga until we spoke a few hours later! They had heard my track “Iconoclast” in an international ad for DS luxury cars, which matched perfectly with what Nick Knight (director for Lady Gaga, Björk, Kanye West…) and the agency were looking for.
We were in competition and had just three days, so I had to give it my all. I rushed back to Paris to compose in the studio. With the help of my friend Vincent Carlo, a fantastic arranger based in Los Angeles, we took advantage of the nine-hour time difference to turn three days into six (I worked while he slept and vice versa!).
The hard work paid off as Dom Pérignon was impressed by my remix. The approval chain went all the way up to Bernard Arnault himself, who reportedly said, “It’s powerful!” We continued to refine the work, and the campaign launched with massive coverage: from Hollywood to Tokyo, New York to London, with posters, events, and more. It was incredible and a great recognition of my work. This led to my signing with Universal Music Publishing and the release of my first EP!
Abrahaam, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m Abrahaam, an electronic music producer from Paris. My journey started with rap beats in my Jazz man father’s home studio, evolving into the vast soundscapes of electronic music. My passion for musical experimentation led to early opportunities to compose for brands, opening doors to the magical world of music for visuals, artistic direction, and music supervision.
I always aim to express something unique and ambitious through my music, never limiting myself in creation or intensity. I blend powerful, vibrant, and cinematic sounds from electronic music, rap, and lyrical singing. My rhythms, basslines, and choirs invite listeners to delve deep and find their hidden potential. My tracks consistently feature an epic dimension, a scent of sacred conquest, a breath of unstoppable sovereign life!
My distinctive sound has led me to compose for major brands, but in 2019, everything changed when my first single as Abrahaam, “Iconoclast,” was featured in an international ad campaign for DS Automobiles. This opportunity led to remixing Lady Gaga’s “Free Woman,” signing with Universal, and releasing my first EP, Genesis. Now, I’m dropping one track a month for a year to introduce my new project.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me, creating is life! How amazing is it to get paid to create?
I believe we are deeply connected to Creation itself—it’s part of us, and we’re part of it. Through creation, I truly feel alive and free.
And this goes beyond music: our work, relationships, everything in our lives can be a creation. Every moment, we make choices. We often don’t realize it and feel like decisions are out of our hands, but we have more power than we think. Through these choices, we create our destiny. In fact, our very being, who we are, can be our creation if we decide it!
Creating frees me because I decide the form and essence of what I do. I shape my future and, in a way, the world’s future since I’m part of humanity. This is what I aim to convey in my music: to make everyone feel that they have infinite potential within them and to give them the strength to BE absolutely.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
As I mentioned, I believe that each of us, regardless of who we are, where we come from, what we believe or have done, has an infinite power within. We often underestimate human potential, especially for good. It’s often because we think so little of ourselves that we act poorly. I deeply believe in human beings! In times when we see our worst, it’s crucial to remember we’re capable of the best if we choose it!
To me, music is a powerful emotion driver, but more than that, it speaks to our core. I’ve always used music to motivate myself, to tackle things I felt were impossible. It’s this drive I aim to instill in my tracks: to make listeners feel they can achieve anything. Everything they need is within!
At the end of the day, I’m just trying to spread love.
