Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Abigaille Cadet. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Abigaille, thanks for joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Success looks different for everyone, but I think it often comes down to a mix of consistency, adaptability, and passion—plus a little bit of luck. It’s about showing up even when things aren’t perfect, being willing to pivot when necessary, and genuinely loving (or at least believing in) what you’re doing.
Many successful content creators didn’t start with perfect equipment, brand deals, or a massive audience. They started by consistently putting out content, learning what worked, and refining their approach. Over time, that persistence and willingness to evolve led to big opportunities.

Abigaille, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m the founder of TheCherysTv, a platform where beauty, fragrance, and lifestyle content come to life in a fun, engaging, and authentic way. My journey into content creation started out of pure passion—I’ve always loved discovering new beauty products, experimenting with fragrances, and sharing my honest thoughts with others. Over time, what began as a personal hobby turned into a thriving community of beauty lovers who trust me to give them the real tea on the best products out there.
As a content creator, I specialize in fragrance. Whether it’s through in-depth product reviews, tutorials, brand collaborations, or lifestyle vlogs, my goal is to make beauty feel exciting, accessible, and enjoyable for my audience. I also focus on educating my community on how to build their own personal signature—whether that’s through fragrance layering, skincare routines, or everyday self-care rituals.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect deeply with my audience. I keep it real, I keep it fun, and I always prioritize honesty. My followers, the CheryBombs, know they can count on me for recommendations that actually work for them, especially as a Black creator navigating an industry that hasn’t always been inclusive. I take pride in highlighting brands and products that cater to diverse skin tones, hair types, and beauty preferences—because everyone deserves to feel seen in the beauty space.
One of the things I’m most proud of is building a platform where people feel inspired and empowered. Hitting 100k followers on TikTok was a huge milestone, but more than that, it’s about the community I’ve cultivated—people who trust my recommendations, engage with my content, and see themselves reflected in what I do. I also take pride in working with brands I genuinely love, helping them tell their stories in a way that resonates with real people.
For potential clients, followers, or brands looking to collaborate, I want them to know that TheCherysTv is all about authenticity, creativity, and impact. Every piece of content I create is made with care, strategy, and a deep understanding of what truly connects with audiences. Whether it’s a fragrance breakdown, a skincare review, or a campaign collaboration, my goal is always to deliver engaging content that feels both aspirational and relatable.
At the end of the day, I’m just a girl who loves beauty, storytelling, and helping others feel confident in their own skin. If that sounds like your vibe, welcome to the CheryBomb family!
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One of my biggest tests of resilience was securing brand partnerships. I was creating high-quality content and engaging with my audience, but the brands I loved weren’t reaching out. After countless pitches and rejections, I refused to give up. I refined my approach, stayed consistent, and let my content speak for itself—showcasing products I genuinely loved.
Then, the breakthrough came. A brand I had been manifesting reached out to me first, proving that persistence pays off and that believing in your work always leads to the right opportunities.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Media Kits & Pitch Templates – When I first started reaching out to brands, I had no idea how to structure my pitches. Finding free media kit templates on Canva and studying successful pitch emails helped me level up my approach and secure better opportunities.
Financial & Legal Knowledge – Understanding how to negotiate contracts, set rates, and manage taxes as a creator was a game-changer. Resources like The Influencer Business Podcast and legal guides from Contract Creatives helped me protect my work and get paid what I’m worth.
