Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Abigail Rebecca. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Abigail, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

Looking back, I always doubted myself.

Will I ever be good enough?
Will I ever fit in?
Will I ever stand out?
Will people like me for ME?

I was born into a Jehovah’s Witness family. A religious cult. I was third generation so the conditioning ran deep.
It was an environment that was incredibly disempowering to women. I was told what to wear and how to act. To be subservient to men. I wasn’t allowed to have an opinion that went against the teachings of Jehovah and the male elders who basically ran the show.

Although I attended mainstream school, once the bell rang at the end of the day I wasn’t allowed to socialise with my friends in my class or take part in anything to do with Easter, Christmas, Halloween or birthdays because JWs don’t celebrate anything they believe is pagan or will displease god.

Thankfully I wasn’t bullied but I was aware of the fact that I stood out and I might be seen as “a bit weird”, so I tried to people please and blend it with others.

I worked out who were the popular girls at school and acted like them, to make friends and avoid being bullied.

My parents loved me but were very strict. There was no TV, we went to church 3 times a week, studied the bible every night and went on door to door ministry to try and convert people into “the truth”. My dad chose my subjects at school which included cookery, needlework and childcare to prepare me for my future as a wife and mother.

Many things didn’t make sense to me but I was told not to question the teachings.

During my teenage years I began to challenge this more and more. When I reached 14, the typical age for JWs to become official members of the organisation, I refused to be baptised because I didn’t believe in it (my value of integrity was strong even then). My parents were very disappointed. Aged 15 I was sick of people yelling “bible bashers” at us in the street and having doors slammed in our face so I refused to do any more ministry work.

Aged 16, I was dreading marrying another JW and living a life that felt like a prison sentence so I faced a life-altering decision. To remain disempowered within the cult or embark on a path to freedom, cutting ties with my friends and family.
I chose freedom, a value that has guided every decision I’ve made since.

I travelled the world first as a Nanny and then as a Holiday Rep. I had a truly fabulous life and the most amazing experiences but I still lacked confidence and doubted myself.

I returned back to the UK aged 31 and built a successful corporate career. I climbed the ladder, managing big teams and big projects.

I coached and mentored senior leaders, spoke on big stages, led teams through change and crisis and continued to travel the world. I even got my Degree in Travel Operations Management.

I mentored many people in that organisation, who weren’t being seen and recognised, to be more confident, self assured and visible. So they could get the promotion that they’d wanted for so long. I realised I had a natural gift for helping people to step into their authentic and visible leadership magic.

But my cycle of self doubt continued.

I started to show up in a different way, in order to be recognised and promoted. To be the leader they wanted me to be. I didn’t trust myself and was giving my power away to other people.

It was a great company to work for but I had multiple burnouts and several trips to A&E with a heart rate of 220, which eventually gave me the wake up call that I needed to leave.

I manifested and negotiated a payout, re-trained as a Personal Stylist at The London College of Fashion and started my business in 2016.

Three years into my business I still hadn’t created the success I desired. I wanted to help so many women but I wasn’t being seen or recognised. I had clients here and there but there was no consistent income.

By this point, I’d invested over $50k in coaching programmes and masterminds that taught a cookie cutter approach to promotion and marketing that I didn’t feel aligned to.

I was living off my savings and I’d even sold my beloved car to pay for coaching.

I felt disconnected. Stuck. Invisible. Worried about being judged and rejected. Caught up in the comparison game and feeling inadequate.

Playing small. Hustling to prove myself.

Again, the cycle of self-doubt continued. It was like all my childhood trauma was showing up in my business.
Then I discovered Human Design.

My biggest breakthrough was when I learnt that as a Human Design Projector, my gifts are recognised and valued when I’m invited into things.

And I started to truly see myself for the first time. To understand my purpose and bigger vision. I realised the trauma of hiding my authentic self had led to confusion about who I really was, and that was feeding my self-doubt.

I was imitating the women who had created the success that I craved. I was jealous of them and competing with them which affected my self-worth and created more confusion and self-doubt. I was living in my deep conditioning.

Human Design showed me that my ‘imperfections’ and vulnerabilities made me unique and exceptionally qualified to fulfil my purpose….to guide and empower others.

I discovered more incredible tools that empowered me to step into the fullness of who I am and stand in my own sovereignty.

EFT helped me let go of the fear and anxiety that was holding me back and break the cycle of self-doubt. To trust myself and stop giving my power away to other people.

Kundalini Yoga helped me to connect into my mystical inner radiance and creative empowerment. It brought me back to equilibrium, harmony and cosmic collaboration.

My energy shifted. I became a magnet to my ideal clients. Not only was I attracting wonderful women who wanted to hire me as their mentor, I was also being invited to speak, collaborate and share my knowledge in a way that completely lit me up. I started to appreciate my own worth instead of hanging my hat on the opinions of others.

It was life changing. I fell in love with myself. I healed myself.

It’s interesting that, as a Human Design Projector, I chose to be born into a religious cult that amplified my fear of rejection. That my hero’s journey was to overcome a desperate need to be seen as the “popular successful girl” and I can now show up unapologetically as my authentic self.

That trying to be someone else is not sustainable.

And how courageous and authentic visibility creates true freedom as you attract the most incredible opportunities to you.

If we’re not feeling good about ourselves, if we don’t truly accept ourselves and love ourselves, how on earth are we going to go out there and be visible leaders, attract incredible clients and make a difference in this world?

I’m so excited to share this powerful and deep work with other women, to show them that being more visible can be a really delicious experience.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

Without doubt, it’s been learning about my Human Design.

Human Design is a logical system that brings together principles of I Ching, Astrology, the Kabbalah Tree of Life, the Hindu-Brahmin Chakra System and Quantum Physics.

It’s a blueprint of your aura. It tells you how your energy interacts with the world, how you’re meant to manifest, how other people receive you and how you receive other people.

It tells you what tendencies and attributes you have and also what energetic gifts you possess.

If you want to be more visible, attract more Soul Clients, (clients who are a joy to work with and take responsibility for investing in their own personal development) grow your business AND create wealth and freedom, here’s why I know Human Design will be so effective for you.

I started my business in 2016 and through my own experience working within the personal development industry, I believe that there is generally a cookie cutter approach to teaching visibility and client attraction.

This is what I see time and time again. Coaches, course creators and community builders who have created success through trial and error or maybe through investing in other coaching and business development programmes.

They then create their own programmes to teach others how they did it. But this is where the system fails so many people. Because what worked for them may not necessarily work for others.

Their clients may have different energy levels to them. Not everyone is designed to initiate. Not everyone is designed to hustle and work hard. Not everyone is designed to speak in the same way.

The strategy that helps one person ATTRACT clients may REPEL another persons clients.

So you see how quickly this approach can unravel. Really incredible courses and programmes that teach the “how to” but they’re just teaching one way of doing things and they don’t take into account that everyone is completely different.

And there will be some people on that course and programme that will be absolutely rocking it and some people that just don’t.

That’s because those people aren’t designed to promote themselves in that way. They’re not designed to build their business in that way.

So through Human Design you learn a bespoke and personalised visibility and client attraction strategy that helps you grow your business empire without the hustle.

Why? Because you’re doing things that come naturally to you. That bring you joy. And you built your business to create a happier more fulfilled life right?

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

That hustle and hard work creates success.

For years I criticised and judged myself for being lazy. When I worked in corporate, I used to stare at the space underneath my desk wishing I could put a duvet in there and curl up for a sleep for an hour. I once had a guided tour of the Google offices in London and was delighted to discover they had sleep pods. You could actually climb in there and go to sleep in the middle of the day! I felt it would be my dream job.

But the endless hours, grind and stress of corporate left me with a heart condition, burnt out in A&E on several occasions with a heartbeat of 220 and I knew this was THE wake up call. My heart literally broke because I wasn’t following my Human Design.

When I discovered Human Design it was like a dark cloud had shifted and the sunlight started to flow in. I realised that I’m not designed to work hard. I’m not lazy. It’s ok. I get my energy from rest, hanging out with Generators and Manifesting Generators and trusting that my deep knowledge and wisdom will be received by them as their guide. (If I’m invited)

So a typical working day for me is usually ‘work for a couple of hours’ and then a long rest. Then maybe work for another couple of hours and a long rest.

I don’t work long hours. Really I don’t.

Does this mean that I’m not committed, go getting and successful within my business? No! It just means that I run my business very differently to the way that other Human Design energy types do.

Now don’t get me wrong. I can put in the hours when I need to. I can work in the evenings or even at the weekends if I am up against a deadline. But I don’t do this consistently. I just don’t have the energy.

Mostly on Fridays and the weekends I put the laptop down and I hardly ever work the last week of the month.

I’ve built my business around my Projector energy so I don’t have to work long hours. Here’s what I now do differently:

I surround myself with an amazing support network – Friends, family, team and even clients are there to support me.

I’m a very good delegator! I delegate tasks that I don’t vibe with and find people that love to do them! This isn’t just in my business but also at home. For example, I hate cleaning but my cleaner LOVES it. She actually sings when she’s cleaning our house. That brings me joy. I get to pay her for doing something that brings her joy.

My prices reflect the bespoke and transformational experience my clients receive. Clients pay me to hang out in my Projector energy and they in turn learn about their Human Design and client attraction strategy so that they too can generate more wealth and abundance. This means that I don’t have to work with that many clients to generate the income and lifestyle I desire.

I’ve released the expectations I had around working with millions of women. To be honest with you, I don’t want to work that hard. Instead, I help my clients to attract and work with millions of women. Now THAT feeds my soul. I still get to experience that energy but I don’t have to ‘do the work’.

I travel a lot. I work at the same time but I give myself space to soak up the energy of the experiences. As I travel and rest, it gives me the energy to mentor my beautiful clients and give them the guidance and support they need.
