Alright, Abigail thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved creating. Whether it was doodling in the corners of my school papers or meticulously decorating my dolls’ rooms, creativity has always been a part of me.

In college at Georgia College & State University, I majored in Mass Communication, which was the first time I truly saw creativity as a career path. From writing stories to designing marketing campaigns and graphics, I loved exploring different ways to tell a story.

After graduating, I worked in communications, but when COVID-19 hit, I realized I needed a bigger creative outlet. To fill the time during quarantine, I started painting watercolor illustrations of different universities and selling them on Etsy. It was such a fun and unexpected experience that reignited my passion for art. Soon, I found myself diving into wedding photography, painting portraits, and designing wedding stationery. And just like that, in 2020, Abigail Marie Creative was born!

Over the years, my business has evolved, offering everything from graphic design to fine art. Then, in 2024, we welcomed our daughter into the world—this encouraged me to run Abigail Marie Creative full-time.

Looking back, it has been the adventure of a lifetime, and I can’t wait to see where this creative journey takes me next!

I consider it an absolute honor to partner with a variety of clients, helping bring their ideas to life in a way that sparks joy and beauty. At the heart of my business is a deep love for creating—whether through graphic design or fine art. My biggest goal is to not only create something visually stunning but also to serve as a sounding board, helping clients refine and bring their vision to life.

I offer a range of services, from branding and marketing support for small businesses to wedding-inspired design projects. With a background in weddings, I take on a limited number of wedding stationery and design projects each year, which allows me to tap back into that world in a meaningful way.

But my true passion lies in painting. Whether it’s a custom fine art piece or a collection inspired by my love for timeless beauty and whimsy, I love creating artwork that brings warmth and personality into my clients’ homes.

What sets Abigail Marie Creative apart is the personal touch I bring to every project. I take the time to truly understand my clients, their stories, and their unique style. Whether I’m designing a brand identity, painting a cherished piece of art, or creating a custom wedding suite, my goal is always the same—to create something meaningful that brings lasting joy.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding part of being an artist is delivering the final piece to my clients and hearing them say, “Wow, I love it so much—this is exactly what I wanted!” That moment of joy and connection is truly indescribable.

For me, it’s not just about creating something beautiful—it’s about the process of collaborating with my clients, understanding their vision, and bringing it to life in a way that feels personal and meaningful to them. Seeing their excitement and knowing that my work has made an impact in their home or special moment is what makes this journey so fulfilling.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

At the heart of my creative journey is a passion for serving others. That’s what truly sets small businesses and independent artists apart—we’re not just providing a product or service; we’re creating something meaningful with care and intention. My biggest goal is to serve my clients well, whether through thoughtful design, fine art, or simply being a creative partner who listens and brings their vision to life. Seeing my work bring joy and purpose to others is what drives me every day!
