We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Abigail Emery. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Abigail below.
Alright, Abigail thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
The idea for Bloom Well Family Wellness was generated from my personal mission to help families live healthy, vibrant lives. There are several chiropractic specialties, and after seven years in practice, I finally found my niche – family wellness. This dream became clear when I went through several trials that encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone. Through this journey, I finally got real about who I was and I discovered the place where my gifts would make the most impact. I have a passion for serving women because they create and influence life in ways that no one else can. A mother’s health during the pre-conception and perinatal period has a significant impact on the health of her children. At Bloom Well Family Wellness, we’re impacting the next generation’s health by empowering women to reach their wellness goals. Bloom Well Family Wellness provides prenatal and pediatric chiropractic, acupuncture, dry needling, and cupping. We also offer the SHAPE Program that has helped women battling infertility, hormone imbalance, mood changes, and digestive problems achieve amazing results. Additionally, our wellness partners include prenatal and postpartum doulas, a lactation consultant, a massage therapist and a chiropractor.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m a chiropractic physician and acupuncturist, serving the Ozarks since 2016. I serve active families and hardworking professionals who need to feel their best. My unique approach to wellness care marries my knowledge of how the body works with my clinical experience. Many people visit their doctor and receive the same treatments every time, regardless of how they feel. Or, they’re in and out in five minutes or less. I believe a quick and routine response doesn’t provide the best benefits for my patients. I believe in actively listening to my clients. How you move throughout the day—including your job, activities, and even sleeping routines—plays a huge role in how you feel. When I offer solutions to clients, they often say, “No one has ever told me that before!”
As a patient, you have direct access to me through email, phone, or text and can schedule your appointments online.
I understand your time is valuable. I greet all my patients when they come for their appointment, and you’ll be seen promptly. I have a quick check-in and check-out procedure to keep the process running smoothly. It’s important to me that my patients feel like they can be themselves so they can get the results they need.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy kayaking with my Australian Shepherd and growing flowers in my garden. I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri (Go Cards!) and graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I have an amazing marketing director who shows my community of followers my passion for chiropractic and explains why my office is very different from the next chiropractor down the street. Hiring a marketing director was a no-brainer for me because my time is valuable and my skills are better suited for patient care and building my business. Before I hired Sydney Simpson, I would easily spend two hours creating a reel for a social media post. Additionally, the person that Sydney portrays me as on social media is the same person that my patients spend time with when they’re in the office. I share my heart and my values on social media. My authenticity helps my patients gain a sense of trust in me. Outside of the office, I build my reputation by connecting with other business owners in the Springfield Executive Breakfast Club and I’m a member of the Rotary Club of Springfield – Sunrise chapter.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Most of my new clients come from current or former clients who refer their friends and family. I love to hear my patients explain that they recommended me to a friend or family member because they have a condition that they feel confident I can help them with.
