We caught up with the brilliant and insightful AARON ROBEY a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, AARON thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
Building a business and/or brand is a risk in itself. My entire life has been a risk. I have always wanted to do things that were far out of my reach. Pushing towards these goals took sacrifice of certain things in life. I have put everything on the line several times chasing goals and failing the success I was chasing. I regret nothing. It taught me everything. Failing hurts, but what you gain in return is the ability to handle any situation life or individuals give you. Never quitting is the cheat code.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I started as a fitness enthusiast. The nerd in me made me research how to grow and eat. Eventually, that limited knowledge gave me the ability to train others. I then studied for a few certifications and became a personal trainer. That lasted for several years. At that time, my gains were increasing and I wanted to bodybuild, which leads to today. I have honed my skillset in bodybuilding and personal training. Technology has made it easy to train clients virtually. I have clients around the world. Modeling and acting have made it into my lifestyle as well. I am constantly building my brand and myself. I’m extremely proud that I never thought about quitting any project that I have started. Currently, I’m preparing an ebook with the knowledge that I have learned through the year of winning and losing.
Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Word of mouth is one of the greatest marketing tactics on the planet. Nothing says that you are a professional in your field like the honest opinion of someone that had bought or utilized your services. Good products or services will always sell themselves, but this is not a quick process. Building trust with potential clients and customers can take time. Platforms like this one, are extremely helpful for small and large businesses alike, to showcase your skillset to a new audience that has never seen or heard of you before. Word of mouth and social medial marking is another cheat code to success

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Believing everyone you know will have the same drive, creativity, and positive energy is truly a lesson I have learned deeply. You can’t expect yourself in others. Nor can you let your guard down. Never get too comfortable in a business with others. Everyone has to push 100%. Time will reveal who is pushing and who you are carrying. Business is a constantly moving and growing seed. When it’s not growing straight, it’s up to you to find a fix or get rid of the loose ends. It’s a part of business that is necessary to thrive. Rely on yourself. That’s the only knowned factor.
