We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Aaron Hartfield. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Aaron below.
Alright, Aaron thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I have been playing the drums since I was 5 years old following in my brothers footsteps. The more I grew up the deeper my passion for music grew. During highschool all my friends were musicians and we love playing video games such as Rock Band and Guitar hero. During one of those times we were playing, I had a out-of-body experience to where I was looking at my friends Zach (Lead Guitar), Blake (Singer), and Greg (Bass) and I said to myself, “I can see us being famous”. Ever since then it was my dream to be a famous musical artist.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
When I started my solo career as a musical artist/producer I knew I wanted to do something different with EDM. I originally started making deep house music but that was not good enough for me. I wanted to make my own genre of music. Which led me to creating Vital House, a fusion of deep house, tech house, and hip hop into a fun and spontaneous adventure.
I have a very big imagination and share that common denominator with my friends. My friends aka The Classics still to this day make up our own skits, anime stories, adventures, or anything that we can turn into a story. I wanted to utilize our gifts with my branding. This led me to creating a multiverse story around the concept of Jyme. Jyme’s ultimate objective is to free peoples minds from the darkness and awaken them to see the fun and happiness in life.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding is different interactions people have with my music. I love hearing feedback from my fans because you never know what they are going to say. Especially the trolls lol, I was borned through the era of xbox live, I only want to hear the best. But seriously, hearing peoples interactions with my music just proves that everyone feels and processes emotions differently. And its the most beautiful thing ever. I love it and it supports my musical and fashion vision.
: Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is very simple. I want to see everyone achieve their most authentic-self. I want everyone that I interact with through music and clothing to feel like they can live life with no regrets.
