Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Aaron Brown. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Aaron, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How do you think about vacations as a business owner? Do you take them and if so, how? If you don’t, why not?
I take a trip whenever I get the opportunity. Big or small its important for me to step away from the daily routines so I make the most of any time I have to travel. Treat yourself/family to one planned vacation a year at the least and let the rest be spontaneous.
Aaron, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Aaron Brown. I offer video and photography services where I offer a unique way of editing and creating eye candy content for my customers viewers. I grew up around engineers and technology was always my favorite thing to indulge in. My grandfather had a passion for photography and captured every family moment and after many different paths in life I’ve found myself doing the same for others. The problems I solve in my line of work is more than the skills I have to offer. It’s the way I extend my love, grace and understanding to everyone I reach. The interactions are meaningful and I’m always grateful for an opportunity to stand where I am so it’s the knowing that you’re in the best possible hands with me is why my work and presence is valued. It’s rare I have any time for passion projects but I love to connect with like minded individuals and spend time doing things for fun where my mind is flowing freely. It’s great getting paid for what you love to do, but remember to why you began because it’s important to fully focus on what drives you. Apart from creating visual media, I really love being out in nature, making music, playing basketball/being active, cooking and activities that are just truly different forms of art. It all ties into how I approach my work and life.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients is word of mouth. Some times I don’t feel like posting/advertising. I like to take a break and put my focus elsewhere but I can still rely on knowing business is coming because the word travels fast when you’ve done work for a lot of people or businesses and they love your work ethic, skill and personality. You are the first and only person on their mind so treat others with utmost respect and put a lot of love into your craft/yourself. Referrals come constantly and you’re steady growing.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
The drive to my creative journey has always been out of passion and desire. I love to create something beautiful which brings me a sense of accomplishment every time I finish a piece. To envision something from start to finish or to randomly throw paint at a wall I love coming up with things and even more when it’s collaborating with others and they’re ten times more pleased than me is why I stuck to this goal of serving others.
