Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to A13mando . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
A13mando , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
Success is a goal only a few have in mind when making music, however it’s imperative to learn the craft from every possible angle to assist you in your career. Maybe back in the day, you could just do music and that’s it however now we live in an Era where an independent artist can and must be their own: ▪︎booking agent
▪︎Engineer
▪︎ Merch SalesMan
▪︎ Travel agent
▪︎ Stylist
Etc.
Once mastering the craft, you stand out in the over saturated market.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is A13mando (pronounced Armondo) a 22 year old renisancce man. I dj, host, curate shows, rap, engineer, direct, write treatments, book artists, graphic design, and really anything I can get my hands on. I’ve modeled for Ursula weildman, was featured on the juneteenth fashion show, Habasha festival fashion show, Winter wonderland etc. I was assistant manager of a rave, stage manager for the sweet auburn fest and created an award show. Basically I do a lot and as you read this article, my resume is only expanding

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Bringing people together. Unintentionally many times, I’ve connected now best friends from being fans of my art. It’s an amazing feeling to see not only did I give an experience, but my customer has also left with someone to experience the world with.

How did you build your audience on social media?
This is going to burst some bubbles, but I am a firm believer in ” Just do it”. What works for me may not work for the next man and vice versa, one only builds anything through trail and error. Remember that you are marketing and branding yourself at all times, How do you want to be seen or known? The narrator’s pen is in your hands, we actively all write our own legends. In conclusion, my advice to build up your following? Interact and express yourself in ways that are uniquely you and genuine. The people will follow, don’t over think just do
