Hi A, thanks for joining us today. What’s been the best thing you’ve ever seen (or done yourself) to show a customer that you appreciate them?
The Mocha Body Bar will be in business on August 24th, 2025, for 5 years. One of the top things we’ve enjoyed as a company would defiantly have to be engaging with our customers! Our customers keep us going on our journey.
We love to surprise our customers with unexpected gifts, or random goodies. The Mocha Body Bar means so much to us, so we defiantly love showing appreciation any time we can.

My name is A.LeSha, I am the owner and creator of The Mocha Body Bar.
At The Mocha Body Bar, our mission is to empower individuals to embrace their natural beauty by providing luxurious, all-natural body butters and scrubs. We are dedicated to sourcing the finest organic ingredients, ensuring that every product is free from harmful chemicals and clean. We strive to be the brand that provides fresh, and affordable products!
It’s important me that we take pride in being healthy, and using safer ingredients. We are continuously working to ensure you all are satisfied with every product I bring to you. We aim to nourish the skin, and uplift the spirit, one jar at a time.
We provide Body Butters, Scrubs, Fresh Soap, and more.
We recently just dropped a 3 OZ mini jar (Mini Butter). Our Mini Butter’s are perfect for traveling, or if you are wanting to sample a new favorite body butter! Our Butters are a great fit for all skin types, especially dry and sensitive skin, providing long-lasting moisture and a protective barrier against the elements all day.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Since the beginning of TMBB there has been multiple situations that put me in a position to demonstrate resilience. The behind the scenes of running a business teaches you lessons that you wouldn’t necessarily experience on the daily, however necessary.
In the Body Butter business trends shift often, however our commitment to quality remains consistent. Every batch we make reminds us that beauty and resilience goes hand-in-hand, crafted to help you embrace your glow while we continue to evolve as a brand.
The key is never giving up, the more resilience you have the better your outcome will be. TMBB has a lot more to come, but it’s all about starting somewhere.
Do you sell on your site, or do you use a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc?

I love having my own platform. I build websites on the side, so building our website has been a big passion for me. Believe it or not, our website has changed four times since 2020. I love to look back at pictures to notice the growth!
I would say there are a lot of pros to having your own website, when it comes to design, layout, and keeping your analytics for your business all in one spot.
Our handmade products are crafted with care, and delivered right to your doorstep. Selling online allows us to share our skin nourishing body butters and scrubs with a bigger crowd. Delivering affordable, fresh, and clean products will always be apart of TMBB growing our self care community!
The only con, would be ( we want a store front one day) it’s online only for now.
