A.c.Moon , appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

Deep in the mtns of northern California, like many places has a diverse and extreme weather pattern,making gardening unique plants difficult in seasons. As a cultivator or many years i would move my plants in and out of the greenhouse and go thru so much work to protect my beautiful flowers,at times even in snows.
One day as the storms rained down and I scrambled to protect my buds,I was carrying a clear umbrella to stay dry a bit and set it on a plant as I worked to tie it up. I then realized I needed this umbrella for each of my plants!! Later in the week I was forced to use the telescoping antenna from a old truck to stand a beaten plant up…then from combining all these concepts I needed – Croptops Greenhouses was born!
Instant pop up portable greenhouse to protect plants from storms as well as used in breeding projects and pest management or research isolation!! I continued to evolve my patented inventions everyday as well as use them!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Resilience of advocacy in medical cannabis deep in the woods offgrid allowed me to invent a new life. As I innovated and patented my invention Croptops Greenhouses it helped me bridge the gap the corporate business and truly understand what education i was missing. As a educated and diverse entrepreneur I dedicate every day to innovating a healthy future for plants,people and planet- with product innovations that match my core value. I want everyone know it’s never too late to reinvent yourself and take a step into entrepreneurial unknowns…its worth it!

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

When first reaching out to engineers I was connected to a group in Sacramento ca that ended up dropping the ball and failing to deliver my product after a year of payment and prototypes.
I decided to go past the drunk men,gain the contacts needed in Asian manufacturing and booked a one way flight to Asia to learn manufacturing myself. Self funded and learning as I went internationally I managed to bring my invention into creation completely alone regardless of poor business practices by those meant to help me.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

Coming from the Cannabis industry into invention and learning integral business, it’s been extremely powerful for me to unlearn thoughts of not having resources and realize the internet brings everything together at my fingertips.
