We caught up with the brilliant and insightful 321 Dance a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

321 , appreciate you joining us today. Before we talk about all of your success, let’s start with a story of failure. Can you open up about a time when you’ve failed?

One time I failed was when I fell for a Roblox scam. I saw an ad that looked real, and I clicked on it. I ended up losing something I really wanted and I cried because of it. At the time I felt really dumb and upset. Later, I realized it taught me a lesson. Now I’m more careful with what I click on, and I don’t trust everything I see online. Even though it hurt, it helped me learn to be more careful.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is 321 Dance. I run a YouTube channel where I play Roblox and share my gaming videos. I started my channel because I enjoy gaming and wanted to share it with others. My goal is to make fun videos that people can enjoy and connect with. What makes my channel different is that I keep it real and simple. I want my viewers to laugh, have fun, and feel included. I’m proud that I started my channel on my own, and I hope to keep growing and reaching more people who enjoy Roblox like I do.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

One time I had to pivot was when I first started my YouTube channel. At first, I tried different types of videos that didn’t really get views or attention. I thought about quitting, but instead I changed my focus to Roblox, since it’s the game I play the most and enjoy the most. Once I made that change, people started watching more and I felt happier making the videos. It taught me that sometimes you just have to adjust and find what works best for you.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

I wish I knew earlier about free editing tools and YouTube tips. In the beginning, I didn’t know much about making thumbnails, editing videos, or how to grow a channel. I just uploaded and hoped people would watch. Later, I found out there are a lot of free apps, YouTube tutorials, and online guides that teach you how to edit better and reach more people. If I knew that earlier, I could have improved my channel faster.
