I began 2022 wanting to progress to what seemed to be the next step with my art pursuits. I planned for success at least on the surface through listening to affirmations. My favorite one being Rockstar affirmations available for free on YouTube. “I Am Going To Crush It in 2022 – Super-Charged Affirmations”. Read more>>

As I approached the 40th Anniversary of my career as a Hollywood/Entertainment Industry Publicist, I decided that I wanted to branch out with my creativity so I became a published Author during Summer of 2022! I think the most meaningful project that I’ve been involved in has to be my touring operation. It’s certainly still ongoing, thankfully, and growing, but I remember all too well a time where touring seemed like an impossible feat. Read more>>

The most important project for me is the track “Fatra” because it is so far the most listened to in relation to the rest of my projects and exceeded half a million, and after it comes the track “Mesh Bafakar” and it talks about the different experiences I went through that may relate to some people, then comes the song “Ayesh Hayati”. The two tracks tell the same story, but in a critical way. On the “Ayesh Hayati” track I say, “I’ve been through everything I’ve been through” and on the “Mesh Bafakar” track “I haven’t gotten over the things I’ve lived through” Read more>>

If we’re talking about meaningful projects, nothing is more meaningful to me at this moment than getting the opportunity to film my first ever music video for my single Yes Ma’am (off my newest album HRTbrkr). Making a big budget music video has always been a pipe dream for a small, independent artist like me, but I knew that if I was going to expend the resources to make a music video, I would want to execute it to the best of my abilities. Emerging Creatives was established out of my passion to give artists a platform where their artwork is seen, where they are respected and where they are supported by a community of fellow creatives. At times during my artistic journey I have felt alone, defeated, not good enough and not seen. I have found this to be true not only for creatives but for people in general. I want to connect people so they do not isolated. Read more>>

The Comatose is the most recent masterpiece that I have completed. This artwork tells the narrative of the importance of sleep in our lives. Sleep is essential not only for survival but also for performance in our everyday life. However, some people in our world are deprived due to illnesses or their busy lives. So, I wanted to create a piece in which we can understand sleep while also seeing a relaxing image to encourage sleep. Read more>>

The B2BY (Born 2 Be You) EP which comes out May 12th has been by far my most meaningful project. Born 2 be you encompasses everything I want to promote. I was adopted at 2 months old by my amazing and loving parents. My Mom is European American and my Dad is African American. Growing up I saw many different sides of life and understood how color impacted certain people and communities as well as individuals like myself. If you’re familiar with Earl Sweatshirt he has a line that says, “Too black for the white kids, and too white for the blacks.” Read more>>

The Most Meaningful Project I’ve worked on is my Latest Album 30 Plus. It is available for purchase worldwide. This is my follow-up album after I was a victim of gun violence and suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2018. I had just released an album May 2018, just had an amazing release party for my album ironically titled, SuperGlued Glass, I was up for several awards and 1 month later I was struck by a stray bullet to the head. I have been working on my first studio album very methodically ever since I decided Rap was my goal. Bit by bit I constructed a very elaborate story told over two separate albums. The themes represented mirror that of relatable emotions from various spectrums. This way everyone has something to hear and it makes my music a lot more unique. Read more>>

My new EP, “Meant To Be” is my most meaningful project. It’s been a fun journey building something that would follow up my previous EP, “A One Night Only Event” and the perfect answer was this new project. I started this EP last year and finished earlier this year after going through many different iterations of this project. Read more>>

My band (Death Will Bring Change) just released a brand new EP called The Sound of Broken Glass. Just came out two weeks ago! It was a lot of fun to write and record it with my friends/bandmates, everyone should listen to it! Out of any project I’ve ever been a part of, this is the one I’m most proud of. Read more>>

In general, I find creating work for public art commissions to be very meaningful. I think it is important for people to have opportunities to engage with art as part of their daily life experience. As Picasso said, “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” Public art can inspire reflection, contemplation, and be the impetus for dialogue and connection between people within the everyday experience. I was drawn to the theatre at a young, so performance has always been a part of my life. After getting my Masters in Fine Arts at The University of Washington, I knew I had to make a choice to move to New York or Los Angeles. LA, at the time, was the land-of-the-walking-headshots. Very little legitimate theatre was going on and young actors just put on showcases to get an agent who could walk them into the tv or film career of a lifetime. I was a dime a dozen. Read more>>
