One of the most meaningful projects I’ve done was when I sewed and pieced together a Bernie Mittens piece. Not quite a quilt, I whipped this thing together during the rage of the Bernie Sanders mittens craze. I was inspired by the Senator and other talented creatives to create something in order to give back to the community. This was about a year into the pandemic and I wanted to contribute somehow so I put the piece up for auction on EBay to raise money for the San Antonio food bank. Read more>>

The most meaningful project that I have worked on is the 30 minute documentary we produced titled, “She Wore Silver Wings”. This true story is based on the life of Jean Landis as a Womens Airforce Service Pilot during WWII. She is also happens to be the great-aunt of my husband/business partner, Devin Scott. Jean recently passed at age 104, and I was told that she was #16 of all the WASP still alive today. Read more>>

The most meaningful project I’ve ever worked on and continue to work on is my podcast – Let’s Have a Moment. It started out as a journal of some sort. Initially, it was an opportunity for me to speak out loud about my healing journey. However, it’s quickly turned into a safe space for so many who experience heartbreak, betrayal and starting over. In 2020 I started work on a film that snowballed into the most ambitious project I’d developed, and pulled it all off with my family and old hometown friends. Lockdown had sent me from living in Brooklyn back to my hometown in Maryland, where I realized the how important the place I grew up in was to my creative identity. The winding country roads, awkward years of grade school, the generations of family that are rooted in the state. Read more>>

Back in 2017 I traveled to Iceland for the first time in my life (writing this now while in Iceland for the seconds time). while in Iceland, I came across lands that filled the deepest parts of my soul with eagerness and excitement, wonder, and a true understanding of beauty. Read more>>

One of the most meaningful projects that I’ve worked on would be the last project I just completed over the course of two full day sittings. My client came to me because he was drawn to my attention to every last detail for his consultation. He had recently lost his father and wanted a tattoo done to memorialize him. Him and his dad would always go down to the coast of Florida and go deep-sea fishing. Every year they would take a trip out to the shore and go way out to the end of the horizon. Read more>>

The most meaningful projects I’ve worked on are custom candles. I love all of my designs. However, it’s a huge honor when someone trusts me to make a special gift for a loved one. Whether it’s an anniversary gift with a special message or memorial candle with a loved ones picture, favorite saying, song, scent, or anything in remembrance. Read more>>

Migrantes is the last musical album that I have finished which has been one of my most exciting projects. It has taken me to travel, let go, love and meet different types of cultures, arts and people who have motivated and participated in this project, which gathers Latin American rhythms fused with electronic beats. This album has the participation of musicians from North and South America. It has the record of 21 interviews with different migrants from Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East. Read more>>

The most meaningful project I’ve worked on has been my latest Television and Film project, “The Rise”. I believe firmly in living my life by faith. Every milestone or meaningful opportunity that has happened to me has been ordained. “The Rise” originated from one of my mentors Mr. White. Through speaking with him he told me I had such an interesting life and needed to document it. My life to me seems normal but outside of the entertainment industry it’s not. I go to the Grammys every year and fly all over the country performing for myself and on behalf of my agency. Read more>>

I think it’s likely that with almost any artist that we would say that our current project is the most meaningful to us, because the intention is usually to dig deeper every time we create. So, what I am working on now is developing into something very meaningful for me. Everything that I’ve done up to this point has been about where I am currently in my journey and now I’m looking back at how I got here and what it means to have travelled here. Read more>>

The most meaningful project I’ve worked on is Pop-In Summer Camp. Taking cues for subjects of focus from my students has been at the core of my philosophy since Day 1. Back in 2020 when the majority of my Pop-Ins were booked for academic support in the thick of the pandemic shut downs, I noticed a growing interest among some of my students in learning more about this game Dungeons & Dragons they were seeing more and more in shows like Stranger Things. The most meaningful project Ive worked on thus far has been my “Color Series”. A personal project I started in high school has become one of my main driving points for my creative work and pushed me to explore the many ways I can utilize color to control the narrative. Im almost 23 now, and ive found my passion for this project to be unwavering. For years Ive been curating my eye and grown more confident in my ability to make artistic decisions based on my own preferences. Read more>>

On 2022 I had the honor to sing along with Andrea Bocellii, Matteo Bocelli, and Pia Toscano with the Florida Atlantic University Chamber singers Choir on February 14th. It was an amazing experience I will never forget. Besides that, I sang the “Messiah” along with the Florida Atlantic university chamber singers choir with the Palm Beach Symphony on December. My most meaningful project in my opinion would have to be my most recent one titled “TRAPMOSPHERE” . I’ve been promoting it to my fans & supporters for some time now, and I finally released it near the end of 2022. I say it’s my most meaningful project because I feel like my sound has come such a long way, from when I first started making music. The type of vibes you’ll experience listening to “TRAPMOSPHERE” are on a whole different level, and I really feel like I got a chance to show my true sound. Read more>>

I’ve been working on my second EP which is a follow up to “Whatever Floats Your Boat”. This is the first time in my career I’ve known exactly where I want to go creatively. These songs have been so fun to write, so easy to come about, and have me so excited. I couldn’t be more confident and proud of the work that’s coming. Read more>>

The most meaningful project that I have worked on so far would be Dates Near November. The album releases March 11, 2023. My one and only son was born in November of 2021. Because his mother and I were never in a committed relationship, I unintentionally gave her my child which allowed my son to be born into chaos. A few months after he was born, I was served with papers stating that his mother wanted sole custody and was trying to take my rights away as my son’s father. Read more>>

In Fall of 2020, I had just began my master’s from my living room couch (literally–thanks to COVID). I was one of a few dozen students enrolled in Kristy Swift’s Prost(ed) Music course, which also served as my introduction to my dear friend and business partner Harry Mathurin-Cecil. The discussion of the day was centered around Richard Wagner–in a post-George Floyd environment, do we “cancel” problematic composers? Can we still perform their work regardless of personal views or actions? Read more>>

Honestly, every piece I’ve worked on has meaning to me. Some customs that come to mind are – I was asked to paint a set of guitars that belonged to a man’s brother who had passed away. A daughter asked me to use her mother’s ashes in an abstract painting. Illustrating poetry books, children’s books, painting a daydream that someone wanted to manifest into reality (and did!) All of these were beautiful moments that people wanted to cherish. Read more>>

I’m currently working on my next album, entitled Heatherlyn’s Musical Apothecary, which will be released later 2023! I don’t know if it’s the MOST meaningful project I’ve ever worked on, but its deeply meaningful to my journey and artistic process right now. Read more>>

I thoroughly enjoy creating and recreating fine jewelry. My most favorite projects are the ones that allow me to create new life from old pieces of jewelry that are not in use. These items are often old family pieces with much sentimental value which are not being worn., due to damage issues or just not the style liking of the client. The fun happens when we create new pieces using the old materials into a new treasure that will be enjoyed for many years to come. Read more>>

This past September I was part of a short film called “Look at the Stars” by director Aris Kouvaras and produced by Eva Papadakou. There are many reasons why I love this project, but most importantly it’s the people involved. The team of filmmakers included people I have known and been close friends with for a very long time. All of us meeting on a professional setting and working together on -what we all call- our dream job, was amazing. Filmmaking has something magical to it and I love being part of it, but doing it with “my” people took it on another level. Read more>>

I’ve been blessed with having done many meaningful projects in my career. However, one of the most meaningful projects I worked on was shortly after having moved to Columbus, OH from NYC. It began at the Columbus airport when I was traveling back from my hometown of San Francisco (already feeling homesick), and I felt so profoundly unfamiliar with my new city. I closed my eyes and tried to imagine what Columbus sounded like, and I couldn’t! Read more>>

The most meaningful project I’ve worked on so far is the adoption series I wrote. As a kid who went through the foster care system at a young age, I feel as if the actuality of how it affects us is often not spoken about. The foster care system in America is underfunded and over packed. Being taken away from your biological line is hard enough – but being put into the system and traumatized again and again is often something we choose not to look at. Read more>>

The most meaningful project I worked on was a pilot I made with my friends in Nashville. It’s a fictional story about The Heritage, the town where Andrew Jackson grew up and the docents that work in the village. I had a budget of $3000.00 and had no clue what I was doing but I had an amazing community of actors and friends that went along with me for the ride. Read more>>
