I do wish I would have started my business earlier. Ever since I can remember, my mind has been flooded with images of things I find beautiful. I also tend to hear music even when I am not playing music. Because of this, I decided to really teach myself how to bring these musical notes and images to life. Read more>>

If I could go back in time I would of started my own business sooner. I remember being younger and so eager to achieve success. I didn’t even really know what that meant at the time. I had so many ideas!! My grandmother was a hairdresser. I can recall her cutting my brothers hair in the backyard. I always loved the suckers we would get after our haircuts. I started my photography journey in October 2022, exactly a year from todays interview. At the time I had only ever known a career in Human Resources and never thought of a career in anything creative, let alone photography. Being a very shy and somewhat awkward person the thought of meeting strangers and taking their photos seemed terrifying but something about picking up a camera and getting lost in the art has given me a newfound confidence in myself and has made me come out of my shell. Knowing what I know now, I do wish I had started researching self-publishing even a few years prior to when I did. It would have given me more time to push out my books to a booming audience that would eat them up and also write a big enough backlist of books to be able to rapid release. The reason I had so much success in the beginning of my career was because I had a handful of books already written just waiting to be published. It took the wait time out of it. Read more>>
