Today we’d like to introduce you to Venus Sol

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

I’ve always had a natural love for all forms of art as I grew up in an artist household. With the support of creative friends, family, and God, I’m taking my interest and embarking on a career in music.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Most dreams are never achieved by taking a smooth road and I knew that from the start. As an independent artist, having to self fund my projects is already slowing me down. If I had the financial resources I’d be much more developed, but I’m making do with what I have. I’m also finding it difficult finding a team that’s just as enthusiastic as me. Genuine support, guidance, and intentions from people that know what they’re doing is so important but I haven’t quite established that community yet. In the meantime, it’s all trial and error and I’m fine with that.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

I’m a singer-songwriter but I also model and act pretty frequently but for fun. I dabble in various art forms but the only one I claim as a part of my identity is being a singer and songwriter.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.

The greater the risk the greater the reward but so are the consequences. I love risk in moderation. If you want to see big results you have to be okay with taking big risk. I always take into consideration whether I can afford the consequences though. One of my greatest risks was picking up and moving across the country entirely by myself right after graduating high school. Embarking on such an independent journey at a young age was one of the best things I could do for myself.
