Hi Tanisha, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Tanisha L. Scott is a living, breathing beacon of hope, author, life coach, and appointed prophet whose essence brightens the lives of women around. Her story serves as a tribute to the transforming potential of faith, fortitude, and the unwavering pursuit of one’s goals.
Tanisha was raised in humble beginnings, and her early years were difficult and uncertain. But in the midst of life’s challenges, she found an unwavering faith that would serve as the foundation for her vocation. Tanisha set out on a spiritual journey, delving into her soul to discover her divine mission, led by a strong inner conviction.

She provides divine insight through her prophetic ministry, comforting and guiding those in need. Yearly she and her committee hosts a women’s retreat at New life Ranch called Girlz Talk Retreat. In addition, Tanisha’s work as a Life Coach is a living example of her dedication to complete transformation. She supports women on their path to self-empowerment by having a loving heart and an acute sense of intuition. She also helps them navigate life’s obstacles with poise and knowledge.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road, I’ve endure a few loss but I would say a struggle in this season was embracing one’s spiritual gifts and it’s journey. I’ve always known I’ve had spiritual gifts and those closest to me knew however; I’ve never displayed them publicly unless you were a guest at my retreat. While obstacles may arise, I navigating them with self-encouragement and being around positive individuals.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an event host, life coach, and author, I am known for my retreat.
I would say I specialize in healing others by way of talk therapy. I’m an awesome listener and empathetic.
I currently completed hosting the annual Girlz Talk retreats 6th year, this year with over forty plus registrations
This years retreat was very special, on the last day of the event, there was a surprise ordination and I was ordained as a prophet,
‘I’ve launched a new coaching program called the “MIM project”. Which stands for ” Mother I Matter”, It’s an online course that discusses the transformative journey of healing from mother wounds.
I am also working on creating workbooks for self improvement as well as eBooks and offering workshops. I have lot’s coming.
I believe what sets me apart from others is my transparency and me being authentic. I have no problem showing compassion for what matters to me.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was playing school with myself and cousins. I would always be the teacher! It amazes me how the thing I loved doing the most I’m still doing somewhat. I love learning and sharing the information retained with others.
